Vitamin through natural resources are always better than tablet. Vitamin D is mainly available from morning sun by direct exposure. No expenditure. Unless there is vitamin D, calcium can not be store by the body. So, only taking calcium containing food is not sufficient. My friend in childhood days took calcium tablet, now he can not move his neck due to storage of vitamin in neck. Therefore avoid artificial vitamin. Dudh mat pio, tel mat khao. Matlab in Dr. Logoki vitamin ki dava khao. Mikael Jackson ke pet me kya mila, keval davaiya.

I have vitamin D problem. It is frustrating. Do these vitamins in supplements get absorbed by the body. How they are manufactured. Common belief is we should try to get all the vitamins from food. Even for vitamin D to get absorbed by the body we need minerals like pottasium. It appears difficult to get all this from food. But still there is a fear whether these supplements have some side effects.
