Alexander Zababurkin is one of the most watchable cellist I've seen. He makes his instrument an extension of himself so well it's almost unbelievable. Or is that the other way around... 🎻 Perfect Performance all around.

You nailed the tempo exactly in my opinion. For me, most interpretations are either a hair slow or a hair fast-- and a hair fast is worse for me because the distinctive "beat" of that allegro is lost. Overall, a marvellous recording and my favorite I have heard. This deserves more views!
