16 year old performing her first concerto with her high school after having major surgery of her ulnar nerve on her left arm which affects her fingers (violin hand) just 7.5 weeks prior to this concert. She only had 3 weeks to prepare for this concert. Before the surgery, her doctor told her she'd have to permanently stop playing violin unless she had this surgery. Also, night before concert, car door slammed on her index finger that holds the bow! Poor kid! Facing all that adversity, she still shined! So proud of her!
