Top tip for removing seized diesel injector on Vauxhall vivaro’s, Renault traffics. Drill a small 3mm hole on tiles top of the collar aiming towards the edge of the injector. Insert straw from wd40 penetrating fluid and apply fluid over a day or 2. Fluid gets down to the rust and breaks down the corrosion. I then use the Renault puller tool kit to gently wind the seized injector out. Part 2 to follow in a couple of days once the penetrating fluid does its thing. #vivaro injector

Hi, how deep hole did you drill and did you drilled a hole in the sleeve?

Hi good video but i,m a bit puzzled by you saying that you have to drill at an angle to avoid scoring the bore . Are you drilling a small well into the injector itself ?. presumably the well has to be drilled in such a was as to allow penetrating lubricant between the injector and the bore ?

Hi Bruce, yes your correct. Do not drill into the bore, only into the injector to allow penetrating fluid to enter the bore to attack the rust. Leave to soak and keep doing it for a few days. It will pull out then.

How do you take off the black cover on top of the injectors , I have taken off all the 9mm bolts but it's still struggling to come off as though its being held by another bolt, but I can't see anything , I have a mr9 traffic 2007

Yes but let the penetrating fluid do it’s thing for a hour or so and then reapply. Good luck keep me posted and hope it works for you as it did for me.
