VIVE Education - Setting up VIVE Ultimate Tracker in VR 

I have been looking forward to using these trackers with my Quest Pro for over a year now... You finally release them and they are limited to a very small pool of headsets? What a poor decision. There is a market for individuals that dont have the room for a base station setup / dont want a base station setup in their home. This was a great solution for that market, the only one available at the moment, absolutely no competition, and you guys blew it. I am still interested in the product, but (obviously) wont be buying it until it is updated to work with a more expanded list of headsets..

Looks awesome can't wait for them to expand to other headsets, been wanting tracking for a long time and this could save me thousands on base stations and trading headsets

Can I use them for tracking in virtual production through unreal engine instead of the vive 3.0 trackers ?

we do xr film making and these would be perfect for our wireless quest 2 3 and pro setups

When do you think tracking for the vive pro 2 will be out

will this tracker support openVR application?

Can you use the dongle for connecting basestation trackers or knuckles controllers to steamvr. A multi device dongle would be awesome.

When will these trackers work for standalone headsets like the quest 3?

Silly question- but if I connect an XR Elite headset to the PC and attach these trackers, will the set up be the same? Or will it set up like other 3rd party PC VR headsets?

The battery pack or headset really needs multiple USB-C ports. Having to choose between charging and the tracker dongle is stupid. I either have to charge the headset/battery pack which allows me to connect to my PC but I can't use the trackers or I use the trackers but I can't charge the headset nor connect to my PC. It also impedes users who don't have the capability to use an ethernet cable and only have wifi as an option. If I could plug up to the pc and have the tracker dongle in use as well this would be the perfect headset. But sadly this is just gonna sit in the box because I can't play anything on Steam with it which is why I bought it. Specifically for VRChat. I can tell it's a great headset. I was very impressed with the sound quality and pass through. It's also so light. But let down once again with another supposed PC VR compatible non lighthouse tracker set up that doesn't work because the item is severely limited in it's functions and what it can run with. First MOCOPI and now this. So much wasted money. At this point I'll be in my late 30's by the time companies figure out how to make PC compatible standalone headsets with non lighthouse trackers. For those curious why I can't connect to an ethernet cable with my PC it is because I'm Military and live in a Dorm. While I have my own Wifi I'm paying for the router isn't accessible to me. Why not just move out? I can't that's not how the Military works. And we live in an increasingly more and more wireless world. Having to have your PC plugged up directly via ethernet is becoming less and less common in many parts of the world. I understand it leads to the best connection but again it's becoming less common in many areas as we continue to advance as a literally wireless society.

Only compatible with TWO Vive headsets... The people at Vive might have the biggest smooth brains I've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to attempt to comprehend.

how bout you get your pc vr option availably for every other headset this is shameful u had pc vr spread everywhere and release it just for your headsett?

This wasn't a "oh we are still working on PCVR" decision. It was financial at the top to make it only available on HTC devices in an attempt to sell more XR Elites. It wont work. The ultimate trackers would be flying off the shelf if they were readily available for PCVR and Quest players, but the financial decision to make them only available to HTC devices means that it will fail until they announce its availability. huge shame. A lot of consumers were looking forward to this, only to be met with another terrible financial decision from another big company. META. YOU'RE UP. You have a tremendous number of quest players who want full body.

what a sh... after 2 hours i still can't do this simple setup, this trackers always lost focus when i put camera from this trackers away from me. i do not recommend to buy this sh..
