I love them both too. That Varjo Aero though tempting... Still isn't a viable upgrade for someone who enjoys triple monitor gaming and VR. GPUs only have 3 Display ports, Which sucks!! Wireless is a must. I hope for Vive Pro 3 HTC copies the Varjo's lenses. And comes out with the Wireless adapter 2.0. The 802.11AY can beam out over 4 times the data.

If you like the Quest 2's latency then you'll love the VIve Pro 2s even more. 40 ms vs less than 2ms. Both great headsets for what they do. Thank you the New Yaw VR 2 should take motion VR to new levels. Comes out September.. It is so much fun

I tried it. Went cross-eyed and almost got sick with that mod. I was glad I was able to revert back. At the end of review, for VP3 I did request they find a similar lens though. More suited and actually design for the headset.

@@yeshuasmc7436 I tried the Lens mode , Yes Clarity , But Everything is Downscaled in Size , and I Loose a Ton of FOV ..

@@solarisaint1 I didn't notice too hard of a FOV, but I couldn't find a sweet spot to save my life. I felt extremely sick. Not a good mod to my head shape or eyesockets. I have an ipd of 65.5.

You got that right!! My 3090 was struggling to keep up too. Why buy a headset that is already tapped out of potential. This headset keeps our computers as the bottle neck.

its not the rolls royce because the varjo joints and that xtal 8k is out but those are 3k-8k+

It might just be me. I get hot in the Quest too. After seeing that new Pimax that is releasing next year, I've already been trying to figure out how I'm going to cool that headset. It looks like a hammerhead, so I know it's going to be hot.

@@yeshuasmc7436 Yea the Quest 2 runs warm on certain games and apps for me. Particularly for Fallout 4 vr with mods. But not the extent of the VP2.

Whatever you do. Do not buy the kit. Buy the Valve Index controllers and Base Stations separately. They are a work of art. The main reason it is pointless for any company to make new controllers for steam vr. And all of the kinks have been worked out of them. Steam Vr use to have a few glitches here and there, but lately even it has been butter.

I run it Super Sampled most of the time since the wireless adapter only supports 1632 by 1632. So I run it probably around 2k by 2k. That eliminates aliasing. Also... cool trick. If you have a 20 or 30 series graphics card, all vr games built with unity get a huge boost thank to this dlss mod. Nvidia dlss now works with unity, and this mod enables it in previous game entries. Sadlyitsbradley explains. I did the mod and my 3090 rarely has to work on unity games like beat Saber. Most vr games use the unity engine too.. Not the same type of wireless though. Plus it doesn't work with steam trackers. The one to look out for is the Pimax 12k. (Supposedly the best thing since sliced bread)

@@joshuahoffmaster6590 That's strange. I never notice any sound. I did when I used the VRNChill which were 50 mm fans, but not the 25 mm ones.

@@yeshuasmc7436 I nay try some larger fans, noctua makes some 40mm fans. May be too much air, but I suspect less vibration at least.

@@joshuahoffmaster6590 Maybe. I felt the smaller ones produced less hum. It's a tough call. Maybe it just doesn't bother me so much. I'm so into the zone. And the cool off is better when doing beat saber than no cool off.

I know. That was the saddest parts. I didn't know how much I liked the Vive Pro 1 blacks until VP2. The Pimax Crystal though. Wow. Perfection!!

It's been awhile. I went to wired since the amd am5 motherboard does not support the wigig card of the HTC wireless package. If you can I strongly recommend the Pimax Crystal. I tried it on the road show, and it blew my mind. It was even better than the varjo. Yet, to your question, I believe it is for my second set of fans. It's setup differently now, but that is what I remember.
