Today I unbox and review Vivienne Westwood's Boudoir Perfume. This is the fragrance that opened many sensual olfactive doors and is the final scent of an eternal icon. This video pays tribute to Vivienne Westwood and her incredible legacy. Dame Westwood passed away one year ago today. This is a very sad day but at the same time a powerful day of remembrance and hope! The hope stems from keeping Vivienne's memory alive as she was an activist in many ways, always fighting to make the World a better place for all of us to live happily together. This is my ultimate favorite perfume of life. I’ve collected enough to last my lifetime. I’m 56 now. If I’d have known it would be discontinued I’d have bought a pallet in the 90s. I’d never give them up. 😢. It’s my signature scent and I’m asked what I’m wearing wherever I go. Thank you for giving it the credit it deserves. How to describe it.? Just magnificent and obsessive. Nothing comes close.

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 unfortunately I didn’t necessarily buy all of my perfume before it was discontinued. But I did find tester bottles. And sales before it really skyrocketed. I failed to mention how much I enjoyed, listening to your memories of Vivienne and passing on her thoughts and feelings I never knew. You also made me very grateful for never being interested in any of the other fragrances they put her name on. And explaining why the perfume darkens over time. What a great tribute to such a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. Thank you so so much. Best video I have seen in a very long time on RU-vid.

I bought one of the first ever bottles of genuine perfume, in the most beautiful jewel encrusted bottle (I still have it of course). She was indeed a special woman. I so wish the scent could be brought back.

This perfume is so lovely. I'm sad that it is discontinued. I wish I had bought a bottle the last time I saw it at Sephora. 😢❤ It reminds me of a Hollywood Regency bedroom. Like one where Jean Harlow is wearing a pink satin dressing gown with ostrich feather trim. And sits at a mirrored vanity with perfume bottles on it. 💜 Your tribute was lovely.

I bought this perfume and it was pink but after a couple of sprays it changed colour but still smells amazing & 7yrs on its still full because I feel it's too unique to just wear on any occasion. Really unique

I have only ever had Boudoir once. I even still have the empty bottle. I love it so much. To me there is nothing that comes close it. More sentimental since her passing.

I’d like to see a reimagination of Boudoir if the new mgmt team does decide to strike up a deal with Coty again. Not Boudoir 2.0… as I feel dubious about how the rerelease would smell today… but a fragrance that pays homage to Boudoir in a way

Love this fragrance!! Dear Dacob, do you have the pure parfum? What are your thoughts on that? On another note, you made me all teary. I totally agree with you that perfumes bring people who passed back to life. I remember when my grandma whom I loved to pieces wore the original poison and tendre poison. Whenever I smell those ( especially the original poison as to me, it is a dark and nostalgic perfume)I feel as if she was standing next to me. It is an amazing experience being in that moment. Perfumes live. 😢💓
