l started using Boudoir in November 1998... l still have one 50ml bottle left unopened that l may have to treasure for the next decades of my life. So sad it has been discontinued. My heart broke in pieces when l heard the sad news... This is THE BEST review ever. Thank you a million times

I’m always on the hunt despite the outrageous prices because it’s the only perfume my husband loves and I can’t imagine life without it. It’s my signature. I currently own 4 bottles. I prefer the original juice from the Lancaster Group with the gold cap over the Coty distribution. Whether or not there was reformulation after they took over I’m not sure. However with as rare as it is now I can’t be choosy so I with take whatever version I can get. I’m sorry it is gone now and will cherish this beauty forever. Now, finding a duo hasn’t been easy but I came across Eden perfumes in the UK and they have the best dupe I have EVER smelled. It’s husband approved. So the fact that he approves of the dupe says A LOT! Also, your review is amazing and epitomizes everything I feel and think about this perfume. Also, as you described the perfume a person who didn’t allow the harsh world of life experiences and it’s adversities to harden its heart, I felt like you were describing me. You are so right! I haven’t gotten bitter. I chose to love more. 😢 With your description, I truly feel worthy and proud of wearing it. And strangely, I needed to hear your beautiful encouraging words today. Me choosing to watch this video right now is no coincidence. It came to me at the right time. Thank you for this beautiful tribute and review. 🙏🏽 This perfume is magical! And forever the Queen of all perfumes in my eyes. ❤

Thank you for your beautiful words Priestess 🙏🏻💖 I too believe that everything is holistic and all happens for a reason. I am glad you enjoyed my review and that you love Boudoir as much as I do. The Lancaster version was perhaps a bit more buttery smooth but the coty version also turns ,ore smooth as it ages and as the vanilla ripens and as the juice turns that dark ambery gold color from the original light rose color when the juice is brand new. 💖 the coty version also turns smoother as it ages and it gets a more chocolatey accord. I have been wearing it today all day by the way. Its a beauty.

Hello Dacob. I just got my first bottle ever of Boudior. I managed to find a 5ml vial from Lancaster. Wow this is amazing! It’s greater than I thought it would be. I wish I had know about this 20 years ago! I hope they bring this back, it’s to good not to exist anymore.

I detect a bit of the vintage Passion parfum, a bit of dolce & gabbana red cap and also the pure parfum of JPG classique in the dry down of Boudior. It truly is amazing. Thank you for educating me on these amazing things!

I remember how just a few years ago the coty formulation was readily available and pretty cheap, I regret not getting it so much. I only wanted the vintage at the time but having recently tested a coty sample I had, I like the coty "version" more (blasphemy perhaps). I have a 1oz of the original Lancaster release left which I do love and treasure but it has a camphor like note that bothers me a bit, I don't get that with coty release.

I love the coty version and the Lancaster version. I can tell you this: Vivienne wore Boudoir when I met her in 2017. It was the coty version. If it was good enough for Vivienne, it is good for me 🥹💖💖💖

I find it to be innocent and youthful in the opening, and an absolute sex bomb in the dry down. Honestly, I wish I could skip the opening altogether, but it’s part of the experience.

It Is a huge shame that those perfumes of big companies test on animals. I am so happy there is the vegan and cruelty free version of this perfume from Eden.
