SO!...for this one I've had to really go metal. The track gives me a feeling of immense power approaching from a place unknown. Adds a nice feeling of urgent panic. The pumping drums helped that.
The bass has a tube screamer pedal, rat distortion pedal and some nice reverby chorus blend. With a switch between plectrum and thumpy pluck pluck fingers.
Again I just write a little story first and the bassline folds into place from that :D
