Miniaturist Journal 101. I'm answering questions from viewers. The Q&A was in honour of my 100th vlog last week. There were still a few questions I couldn't answer, I'll get to those next week.

Thank you very much for the Q&A. I sit in awe and admire all the things you show us! I'm looking forward to seeing more work on the roombox-house!! I wonder if I could make a roombox myself? Maybe more achievable than a whole house!! At any rate, it is so delightful and interesting and entertaining and educational watching your videos! You are so welcome! Of course you can make a roombox yourself. The most basic one is just a box on it's side: three walls, a floor and a ceiling. As a start, even a cardboard box would work. Have fun with it! 😃

This is such a wonderful video! Thank you for answering my question. In real life I love wood furniture. My 'dolls' house" is a tall antique glazed bookcase 5 tiers high so I have 15 rooms. None are any where near finished so it is a big project.

🎉hello lovely lady hope your well ? I'm very excited I brought an old dolls house yesterday for £10 . It's around 50 yrs old and spent most of its life in a dusty loft. I couldn't resist it I think it's home made but I'm not top sure. My profile pic is the house . What's do you think and what age do you think it is? 🎉

I had a look at the picture of your dolls house and my first impression was that it's from the 1930's to 1950's. Maybe the windows suggest it's more towards the latter. Also looking at the wallpaper it could be 1930's to 1950's. I love it! It looks to be in pretty good condition too. Apart from cleaning it, I wouldn't do too much to it, leave the charm of the age and fill it with wonderful finds and miniatures you make yourself. Lovely, lovely find. Lucky you! 😃

@@MakeMiniatures oh thankyou I'm very excited about it ☺ I thought I'd keep it as near as possible as is and yes needs a good clean lol. I thought I might open the roof up so it's hinged and put a couple rooms in . I can't believe it was only £10 I offered her £20 but she wouldn't take it bless her x
