Great Job this week! We just finished parent/teacher conferences and you are so right about being on their side. If they feel heard, parents are so much more open to hear what you have to say.
Hi~ I'm a 6th year elementary school teacher in South korea and I am absolutely obsessed with your videos these days. I love watching them while i'm driving to school and it just puts me in a energized teaching mode. I just love your energy and enthusiasm about teaching your kids. I'm used teaching higher grades but next year i'm considering teaching 1st years because all the activities you do with your kids is so inspiring. lol I know teaching is never all jolly and great but thank you for always sending us good energy.
I love the book: ‘Bear Says Thanks!’ I have read that book every Thanksgiving for 5 years (I have had my own classroom for 5 years now but have been a teacher for about 20 years)…. Your water color turkeys look soooo cute and your grow a pumpkin seed sign is awesome! 😍
Your videos give me such inspiration each week for my own K/1 combo! I'd love if you gave a deeper look at your center folders and centers, like what kinds of activities are they working on each week in their centers? My kinders are not super independent so centers are a little rough. Also, can you share where you find your directed drawings?

Hello! A few questions - I am sorry I know you have mentioned this before either on Instagram or here.... where do you find the direct drawings? You have such great ideas I am wondering if you give parent gifts at Christmas from students? If so can you share your ideas!!!??
Directed drawings for the display I just search on Pinterest and I do my own step by step with my kids! The ones they do in their centers are by Kreative in Kinder. At Christmas we do wooden ornaments that they paint a snowman on and write their name on the back. At least that's what I've done in the past!
I totally agree with you about the show YOU. However, I did like the show, only because it was something 'different" to watch. I haven't watched season 3 yet.
I thought of another question... Have you been saving anything for an end of school year memory book to send home with each student? I've been hoarding projects instead of sending them home because I don't have a plan yet for what to send at the end of the year. I want to do *something* but also don't want to create even more work for myself.
