@@laura-jeanbainbridge543 Being active and striving for normal activity is probably the best thing you can do for your mental health. As long as you rest when your body needs it. Wishing you strength and power.
Laura .. I feel for you…. I was in 7th grade when over Christmas I lost 10 pounds. This was in 1972, that was the start of my nightmare. Fast forward …I had to stop swimming and Skating competition. My favorite sports. It was after High. School in ‘78 that a doctor appt turned into being admitted to the hospital in a Friday . I had temp of 105, on I was inflamed down inside my female parts, cramping all that good stuff. 😢. By Monday morning I was signing papers for exploratory surgery. My surgeon was excellent. But, the verdict was shocking. Dr. Taft found Crohn’s Disease and it spread over the years I was not diagnosed. Unfortunately, they knew very little about IBD. I was in the hospital 2, weeks. I could tell you so much more. Cabbage is yummy but it’s hard to say no or just have very little. I understand and I am here for you. I am now 62 a d have done 1/2 marathons in the past to raise awareness and money for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. I am thinking of you and wishing you the best.
Wow what a story! So cool to hear you have done so much for creating awareness. I honestly feel like I always have to explain what Crohn’s and UC to most people. Sending you lots of love! ❤️ PS our furry friends are the best!
@@laura-jeanbainbridge543 The funny thing is gaffer that first surgery all I wanted was spicy foods and salads. Exactly, what I was t suppose to eat. I also have 2 young adult children. I was told not to have children too.
@@laura-jeanbainbridge543 Don't be surprised if the oncologist refuses to look into it. It is dirt cheap and can put them out of business. You will have to research it on your own.
