Cyclone Yaku is currently causing heavy rain falls and damages in the north of Peru and in Ecuador. The government of Perú has declared the state of emergency in some regions that were heavily hit by torrential rain and flooding.
The region of Lima is on red alert for possible extreme rain falls in the upcoming days, according to the Senamhi forecasts.
And we already experienced a big amount of rain on last Friday, the 10th of March. It was so heavy that even our cats got surprised.
We hope that the cyclone is not causing any further heavy damages in our beloved countries Peru and Ecuador. Please stay safe!
