My Mother taught us to always walk in Faith. Go out on Your Faith. And to never let anyone downgrade you. Tell folks how you feel because you might never get that chance again, and it'll eat at you. And I have definitely done that my 62 years. Especially if someone tries to play you or embarrass you. It will tear you up. Bring on depression. Low self esteem. Suicide and so much more. I have no blood pressure problems 😂

😂Down to the pool Episode 5! 😆😂As far as people making fun, I think when you are comfortable with yourself, it triggers people who are not. I can't stand when certain people automatically want to get into a competition or a comparing match, when I have no intention to compete. Rather than get pulled in, I just get quiet and let them have it. I used to try to justify myself, but now I will completely shut down and give nothing. I found that's more effective. 😂 Love the all white looks and the video! What a beautiful way to end the vlog ❤

I can relate. I was hired at a company by this lady and the first week I was there she told me I needed to start dressing down. I was like I don't really know what that means. I was used to wearing suits and hills yo the office. That is what made me feel good when i walked out the house. And I realized she was feeling uncomfortable or intimidated because of how she dressed. Which was corduroy pants that were dragging on the floor and tshirts. I was like oh no mamm. But now I'm in a warehouse office and can where whatever and don't have to deal with that.
The way you described how negative people can be on the job is so on point!! When we are bettering ourselves and trying to do things right, there is always a group of people my Daddy use to call the “peanut gallery” trying to laugh and make fun… It’s such a shame!😔People make fun of what they DO NOT understand…period!!

Is how I dressed when I worked. In Politics and moved on to the Corporate world. People tell you to dress down are jealous. How you dress says so much about you, your personality, and how you take pride in self! And I just want to add that I'm 57. I have re-invested myself and career 4 X's. IT'S NEVER EVER TOO LATE! Now that I am 58 no job yet just a phone I think I will start off with shorts. I wanted to do wig reviews but there are so many ladies that are doing it that I said well I can do fashion on a dime. I am not interested in designer wear but just something that is cute. Ion know girl. Thanks for sharing cus I be popping myself in the head for not keeping it up. I got wigs that I posted from 13yrs ago that I would get from samsbeauty. I got some long synthetic hair that was 14.00 yes and good wear. They hardly have anything. Praying for us all.😊

Thank you for the shapewear tips!! I’ve been struggling with what to put under my whites clothes so that it looks seamless. You’re amazing! We are similar when it comes to appearances. I love to get cute and dressed up. I don’t care if I’m just going to the gas station. I want to feel/look put together. I guess I get it from my mom. She is very girly girl as well and always kept up appearances and she didn’t break the bank to do it.

I do understand about wardrobe attire at work. I wear dresses and heels everyday to work .my co workers roll in like they just rolled out of bed. They choose what best for them and so do I. I am mistaken for the office manager every time someone new come into the and I just point them to the manager. I would get asked why I continue to dress up. I like them know this is how I do it. I have casual wear, but I'm in a professional work environment.
They we’re probably upset because you change the standard of what was acceptable in the workplace. I’ve noticed a lot of times when someone is well dressed that becomes the standard for everyone else and lazy people hate that.
