Kyrah I appreciate the vlogs. It's no secret that I was sad about the Mom vlogs disappearing. But I get the same vibes from these and I love it. Good luck on this semester you got this
I LOVE the idea of writing down kids’ strengths and interests. I’m 26 too and still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up 😂 I wish my parents would have done that for me!
Love that feeling when you’re finally in school for what you actually want to be doing. It’s a WHOLE different vibe! I’m a part of the 15% who also loves the bookish content lol. Loved this 💛
I am a virtual/online PhD student and yes, you are a student! Proud of you, pace yourself, seek support, and don't forget to breathe! Continued success with your endeavors!
Ive also been doing a journal for my son! Like little memories I don’t want to forget, his favorite things, etc I even do different “categories” I think it’s such a great thing to do that they will appreciate so much when they’re an adult
Love a good realistic vlog! As a new mom who just started school again I can relate to feeling like there isn’t enough time in the day for everything! You got this!🤍
You’re so right about childhood skills. I used to teach my stuffed animals growing up. I went on to become a teacher, & now I teach business. It’s truly one of my natural skills. Your boys will appreciate you taking notes for them ❤
Hey Kyra, so Kaelin posted a video letting us know that your brother and mother now live with you. With that said, maybe it will be a blessing as your mother could take over cooking, cleaning and taking care of her grandchildren while you are busy with school. P.S. You have influenced me to get back to reading novels as I first started reading back in my 20s and I am 51 years old now. I am on book 4 of a 5 book series as I love to read black romance novels. ❤️📚😁
KYRAH GIRL. Plsss I missed these 🥲 Love you girl & praying for a smooth semester! This is my last semester before student teaching so I get it!! Keep going! God called you to it, he’s going to carry you through it 🤞🏾
The study techniques were very much valid because although i've been to college before i didn't realize how genius it is to bring the study guide to the lecture and get it done during lecture until she mentioned it😮😂😂
I really appreciate your content because it’s just relaxing and it’s clean. I know whatever it is that I’m watching of yours that I’m not inviting anything nasty into my house and sometimes I get so overwhelmed with everything it’s so nice to be able to click and know that your presence is calming and I can ground myself and remind myself there’s good in the world. Idk if any of that makes sense but I just wanted to say thank you. You guys present a very healthy, happy, Christian family life and it’s so refreshing and inspiring.
I’m 28 and I’m finishing school this August lol watching you reminded me a lot of myself because I had the same anxieties when doing work and studying and figuring out how to study lol Glad I’m not alone!
I love how u said u had no regrets going back to school later on in life. I graduated high school in 2000 but had gotten married young and started a family soon after so I wanted to be home for them so college was put on the back burner for me. I ended up going back to school in my 30s got my associates (my last semester was my oldest child’s first semester & we had a class together…which was cool). I am now 41 and doing my last 2 years for my bachelors in education and loving it ❤ It’s true when u are older and in school u take it more seriously. I actually enjoy school so much that even my hubby says he admires that about me lol Wishing all the luck with your schooling and prayers for your future career ❤😊
I love your story. I wish you the best with everything you’re doing. I will be 48 this year and I too got married and had kids young. My husband and I are about to be empty nesters our youngest leaves for college out of state in 4 months and she’ll be 18 in 6. Our 2 oldest went to college, well middle child is still in college and they have lived on their own for years now. I’ve always loved school and am returning for a dual BSN/Masters degree in Spring 25. My 1st degree is a bachelors in Business management and Healthcare Administration. This time I’m going back for what I want and I’m so happy because this is about what I want not what needs to be for my husband and kids. My 1st degree was to benefit mine and my husband’s businesses we’ve owned for years and to be fair my husband too got his degree in management as well, but I handle more of the business day to day but it’s not what’s in my heart. My husband and kids are behind me cheering me on, I’m grateful for their support the opportunity to focus on me now.
@@MyownpersonKeta I absolutely love this!!!!! Yes girl it’s your time now♥️ my youngest is 19 & almost done with cosmetology school, my son is the middle kid and is 22 as a trainer and manager assistant at an Amazon plant, and my oldest daughter is a married stay at home momma right now. So I figured I am going to do what I want as well and go back to school especially since my hubby does a lot of traveling for work and I have time. My family is my biggest support and couldn’t do it without them cheering me on. Good luck to you and your new journey😊🙌🏽
Part of the 15% here (it’s crazy I’ve been here since the 2016-2017 era) 🙋🏽♀️❤️ wishing u the best semester! I’m also a college girly in my senior year (took a gap during covid) currently but ofc going back after graduation 💪🏽 I also have an exam on the 1st lol! I love how u touched on doing what you want even if someone doesn’t want to participate because I’m the same way. I love going to events solo if a friend can’t/doesn’t want to tag along
Heyyy okay so I just wanna say how very proud of you for pursuing going back to school because us moms need a little inspiration, and that you are giving! ❤ keep it up my girl we are rooting for you 😊😊
I’m so glad I get to be apart of your week because you’re a part of mine! I look forward to watching you. As a mom of two boys and a bookish babe. It’s refreshing.
I finished with school about 3 years ago (masters) but it was actually pretty common during my undergrad and masters to go to school with people who were parents. I technically was considered an "older" student when I finished undergrad because I graduated at in my late 20s. I'm not a mom (unfortunately) but I work with kids as a teacher. I love the mom and book content!
21:59 We all have this feeling at some point in our lives. It's actually depression/anxiety...you feel out of it, drained and unmotivated to do things that you would normally love. We live in a world that's so divided and negative information is fed to us through social media, commercials, etc. We're sooo busy doing thing for others and trying to accomplished new goals. Personally, I have to focus on the good in the world and remind myself that the world is a beautiful place with beautiful people. I have to remind myself that if I never accomplish another thing...I am blessed.
I enjoyed the vlog. What people don’t realize is that being a mom is also doing what makes you happy and what you want to do. If you feel better about yourself you treat yourself and the ones you love better as well. We can’t lose ourselves in our role of mom, we are more than wives and moms and we had/have dreams before and will have them once our kids grow up and move on. I’m speaking as a wife and mom of 3. Our 2 oldest live on their own and our youngest will be 18 in 6 months and will leave for college in 4 months then we’ll be empty nesters. In Spring I will be returning to college to earn another degree, this time a degree in a field I wanted. You’ve got this Kyrah and all the other Moms keep doing great things. ❤
Kyra please keep filming videos like this of vulnerability and real lifestyle. Thats what made me subscribe in the first place when i saw how real you were in your videos. Thank you😊.
Loveeee these vlogs 😊and theblack frames!im also in college online im a 30 yrold student and i need to get all my planners together out to be ready too hehe
Hey gurl!! I’m back ❤ I am so close to finishing my semester. I feel you, I am 27 almost 28, and I’m in college with maybe 2-2 1/2 years left. So, I understand exactly where you are coming from. However, congratulations on starting school again!! 🎉🎉
I finished my degree at 25 with a toddler and I felt so confused/ had imposter syndrome especially being on campus. But I'm so glad I finished! You're doing great! It's difficult to balance working, being a mom & a student
I totally understand the first week of school scaries! I’m 25, have a 2 1/2 year-old and I’m pregnant😅 every time a new Term starts for school I start to slightly panic about if I will be able to do it or if I will get too overwhelmed. It doesn’t help my productivity but eventually I get in the zone. 😂
Loved this video soooo much this is my third time watching!!!! Also, Is your mom living with you guys long term? Will you be showing her at all? Just curious!
Hi Kyrah, How are you feeling mentally and emotionally right now? I know your mom and brother moved in, and I wanna check up with you and see how you're doing right now. I don't want any details about your situation because it's fo me to know, but I do hope that you and Kaelin are doing well with this drastic change in your life right now.
I get that same sweating and anxiety in public and I am late diagnosed with autism level 1 at 22yrs old . As a female it can be a lot harder to get diagnosed at a young age . I was extremely smart very young and in gate gifted program at 5 years old . The anxiety that comes with asd is so hard . Just a thought you should see if u have any other similar symptoms. sending hugs
Wow! My mouth dropped when I heard you say you were in school for Biblical Counseling. That degree is not common & it is a lot of work but I agree going to school for something you enjoy will help you enjoy school more. I just found your channel and I’m glad! I wanna ask what school you attend but I understand if that’s too personal.
My Daughter is currently in AP world History right now in 10th grade. They're taking exam in May for college credit. She's been struggling in the class. Her teacher shows them Heimler History on RU-vid. I'm not sure if this will be resourceful for your class or not.❤ We're trying to figure out the best way to prepare/study for the Exam. The lavender matcha is good I add vanilla syrup to it though lol. Haven't tried it without it. 😂
Hey Kyrah, I haven't watched the full video yet but am I right in thinking your curls have become a bit tighter over the last few years? Your curl pattern seems way closer to mine than I remember! What do you think caused this? Is it a change in your hair routine / the health of your hair / due to hormonal changes from your pregnancies? Sending love
Hey! What is the app you were using to work out? I just came back to the video to see but i didn't see it linked and i didn't see the name on the video either. Please and thank ya! 😊
Curious what app you use in the gym? I’m newly postpartum, and would love together back in the gym with some help. Love your videos I’ve watched you before the boys❤️❤️
It’s me, hi, I’m the 15% LOL. I’m really not though, I’ve been around but I unsubscribed at one point. The rebrand brought me back and I love it here 😌
Okay so 1 I am a returning viewer of when you guys were in college before and your husband did that breaking up prank on you! 2 I am in college as well grad date 2026 and online as well. I don't have exams but we also do 8 weeks
