i just realized when i was talking about doen later in the vlog i actually was thinking of christy dawn! doen is indeed doing a huge warehouse sale (thank god), but the dress i put on the screen is from christy dawn & when i talked about isabel wearing those pieces i was ALSO thinking of christy dawn! *face palm* i always mix them up. either way-- with the sales on doen i could finally afford to invest in some pieces from them too! yay!

i am dealing with similar hormone issues and i hear you and im with you. i have been on the line of pre diabetic my whole life and have been diagnosed with PCOS for a decade. i’ll be seeing an endocrinologist in a few weeks!! i’m finally getting it under control and even though i dont want to have children, im so excited to get my body feeling good!!! the imbalance is affecting my mental health so heavy. im so happy for things to be looking up! i love you so dearly meghan and im sending you so much love 💜

My nutritionist said to make sure I get 20-25 grams of protein with each meal as this helps balance out blood sugar (and thus hormones) from carbs + fat. I have been doing this and lowered my overall blood glucose levels (testing after 3 months). I had bad PMS and this really helped. Now use I close to no painkillers and do not get migraines around period. Just a tip!

You've probably already explored this, but if you dont have an acupuncturist around you yet I highly recommend you find one! As someone with PMDD it was literally the only thing that helped reduce my hormone issues. It worked so well im now going to integrative medicine school so i can become one!

You’re not wrong though, even though I don’t do dance as constantly as I used too (bc I did that age 2-currently) I’ve still got all my flexibility and getting the rest of the body back to my prime :( super self conscious about my tummy area 😮
Those bugs on that zucchini are squash bugs! They suck the nutrients from the plants and kill them eventually if not dealt with! just wanted to let you know because I have a major infestation this year and it's so annoying ❤

I also keep playing with the idea of coming off birth control (been on it for literally 15 years) but I feel like I should tackle whatever seems off in my body before doing that 😂 How hard did you have to bully your primary doctor to do the hormonal panel because I know they’re not a fan of it since it’s more expensive?
finley liked his too! but it had a taste in it that WOULD NOT GO AWAY! it was like stuck in the cap or something & no matter what we tried it just tasted terrible. he is still using it occasionally, but wanted the yeti for water throughout the day

i’m so glad you asked! it’s still very much a part of my life with growing my own food & purchasing from sustainable companies for most things, but it’s been a struggle with groceries here in VA. in OR, we had an amazing bulk store close to us & here we don’t. i want to get back to a place where i have more bulk access & can make more of my staples as well, but so much of my kitchen equipment is in storage. it’ll happen though i know it!
ok i know this may be super gross and weird but for the last couple months ive been taking a spoon of organix flax oil and a small piece of frozen raw grass fed liver (taking it like a vitamin) and my cycle has been the best its ever been
