Join us for a cozy stay at the Holiday Inn Estes Park, formerly the historic ‘Ridgeline’ hotel! We visited Estes Park, CO, for a destination wedding towards the end of February 2024 and had an absolutely amazing stay at what was then affectionately known as the ‘Ridgeline’. Estes Park, as many will know, is the home of the “haunted” Stanley Hotel which served as the inspiration for Stephen King’s ‘the Shining’ as well as a filming location for the 1997 soft-reboot miniseries. However, while the Stanley still accommodates hotel guests to this very day, the price-per-room rates are quite high during even the slowest weeks of any given season. Conversely, the Holiday Inn Estes Park (I.e. ‘Ridgeline Hotel’) offered a more modern but no less adventurous hotel experience with onsite dining, in-room fireplace and sprawling pool and gaming complexes at a much lower price point, so we decided to give the latter option a try! Less than a week after our stay, the Ridgeline was absorbed back into the IHG Hotel chain and rebranded as the ‘Holiday Inn Estes Park’; and we were delighted to hear that the same staff, the same rooms and the same amenities would be offered at this unique mountainside lodge, because we had a truly amazing stay at this location. Big Shoutouts to Jeff, Tyson and the rest of the (then-Ridgeline) staff for making our stay extra special!

So sorry I am so far behind! I LOVE the room and tour but.. THE VIEW! So beautiful. The hanging chair in the lobby too looked so much fun! I really want to visit Colorado as my bestie is there, this makes me wana visit even more. Loving the look of the pool and fitness centre too! The food you get always looks so so good! Ahhh real smores over a real fire! Although the wind made it seem a little tricky! Thanks so much for this amazing vlog Tim!

There's never any hurry to check out our content, we're just thankful that we have so many wonderful people that enjoy watching whenever they can. 😊 This was such a great stay and the view was absolutely incredible. It definitely won't be our last visit to the area, either - coincidentally, Katie's bestie lives in Colorado as well! The Ridgeline (Holiday Inn) looks awesome! This was such a great tour. A bit surprising it’s turning into a Holiday Inn, it seemed like a fun and unique little hotel but I’m happy to hear it won’t be changing up along with the name! Definitely seems like a great more affordable option for the area. It’s super nice that it has an arcade, and I always love a good hot tub! The lobby did look super cozy and inviting. I would definitely be chilling out in that hanging chair for a while and drinking some coffee 😅 The fire pit outdoors would be so nice with the beautiful Colorado scenery! It’s always nice when a hotel offers a fitness center too. Definitely seems they’ve got all the amenities. The room looked really spacious and comfortable too! Fantastic tour and great video as always 😊 thanks for taking us along!

It really did remind us of some of the Disney and Dollywood resorts, but for half the cost! Definitely one of our favorite hotel stays, and we’d absolutely go back and stay again even under the new brand…after all, the staff is all staying on and continuing to do what they do best. 😁 Thanks for watching, you guys!

Such a beautiful place to stay!! Greg would love to stay in the Stanley hotel someday, but way too expensive (and haunted LOL) 😂 I’d rather stay here hahaha! What a lovely, spacious room! Sooo nice to have a fireplace in the room, how cozy! Always nice to have coffee in the room! Great tour of the room, looks really nice! I like the mural on the wall. Ghostbusters pinball machine?! How awesome! Nice little coffee corner with Starbucks coffee! Unlike you I’m a coffee addict LOL. Greg says all water stations need to be like that one! Love the fire pits. Cool that they have a game room! Dinner looks so good, Queso, sign me up! 🤤 glad the chili is good too, yum! Greg would be all about the elk too. Mmm tender burger! Smores are the perfect way to end the evening! Fantastic review you guys!! 😊

You can still visit the Stanley and do a ghost tour, lunch or even a seance without having to actually stay at the hotel! We stopped by for a quick visit in between wedding errands just to take some pictures and peek our heads into the lobby. 😁 We wound up going with the Ridgeline (now the Holiday Inn) because it was so close to the venue and so much more affordable, and we were surprised by how cozy and comfortable the hotel and the rooms really were! I spent literally hours fooling around on the Ghostbusters pinball machine haha and the food was so good! I think Greg would enjoy Latitude 105, if I’ve learned anything about his palette from your videos. I’m not sure it where it would fall on your sliding scale of 1-10, but for me that burger was probably an 8. Thanks so much for watching, you guys! ✨
