Welcome friends from all walks and fandoms to FanExpo Philadelphia 2024, a massive pop culture convention in the heart of Pennsylvania! Although we have never been to FanExpo Philly, we have been to its sister convention Megacon Orlando more than once and we were excited to see what our local FanExpo event had to offer. Knowing that some of the biggest and most popular Hollywood celebrities would be attending this event, we also decided to take the extra step of purchasing in VIP badges - a significant investment that left our wallets reeling! So, the big question we had going into the convention weekend…was VIP going to be worth the price we paid? We documented our entire experience with the VIP badges, including concierge, private lounge, VIP bag check, VIP celebrity access and more, and we have some thoughts on whether or not the value justifies the cost! Join us as we explore, experience and immerse ourselves in the geek chic of cosplay, artists, exhibitors and more in this two-day vlog from the City of Brotherly Love!

Very nice to have a quiet VIP room. Especially love that you can check your bags in the VIP room and early entry for the show floor. Katie's hair is looking so good. Ah the Loki bag! So cute! I also love the Wednesday bag. YOU MET PERRY THE PLATYPUS AND APPA! Katie looks like a grounder from the 100 series when she got her makeover. I love it. I love the transition between day 1 and 2.

It was definitely a nice change of pace to live the high life for a little bit! The quiet space to catch our breath came in extra handy on Saturday when the show floor was totally packed. 😅 I low key forgot that Dee Bradley also "voiced" Perry the Platypus haha but it was a great experience to meet him! This looked like such a fun expo! Some pretty cool bonuses with those VIP tickets & it’s nice that the lounge is offered for some chillin out when needed. I actually do quite like those handmade by robots figures - they are quite similar to Pops, but I do like that “hand knit” look they have. It was pretty weird seeing all that sunlight come in to a big convention expo center like that! Seems like there was a LOT of good merch and fun and unique items to check out all around. Gotta love the PSA graded ‘zard lol. How tempting - but that price tag 😅 The togepi bath bomb was also adorable.Those lightsabers were awesome. There were some really great cosplays! That seems to be one of the best parts of going to any expo or con. We have YET to go to one, but we really want to and are trying to plan for one soon! Some fantastic photo ops too and great photos of the both of you to remember what looked like a wonderful day. Awesome vlog as always 🙌 thanks for sharing!

We love a good convention, it's always worth it for the vibes and the cosplays even if you buy nothing and talk to nobody! Hopefully you all are able to make it to one soon, I know you have some of our bucket list conventions in your area. Although I cannot responsibly promise that you will find Togepi bath bombs for sale, I think I can safely promise that you'll have a blast! 😉 Thanks so much for watching!

Ooooh VIP Sounds amazing, so looking forward to seeing the perks. The goodie bags look like they have a good amount of items in there and the bag itself is great too. :D :D Katie picked Ryan Reynolds!!!! :D :D The Dark side of the force is more fun! ^_^ its such a shame when guests drop out but also amazing when you still get to meet them too. Yaaaay a Loungefly wall! The best sort of wall! No way you won a golden ticket thats so good. Really like that as VIP you can get to the front of the line, thats a great idea. Like Genie+ at Disney, just walk right past the queue, LOVe he did the voices for you too thats so special. I keep saying flavour instead of scent too! Defo do not eat bath fizzers! Love Katie's makeup look, I enjoy seeing how they do it too, so detailed. Love love love seeing all thr cosplay, so much effort is put into them and I am here for it! Thats such a good tip about taking a reference photo for the celebs too. Honestly, I feel like if you say lots of celebs VIP is 100% worth it to skip the queue to then be free to enjoy the event. Loved this vlog thanks so much for taking us with you!!

Haha, I know you know all about the atmosphere of a good convention, Hannah! VIP really did save us a ton of time getting in and out of lines. Some celebrities like Chloe Bennett had their lines cut due to overcrowding and scheduling conflicts (panels, photo ops, etc.) and we wouldn't have been able to meet them at all if not for that VIP escort! ✨ It was an expensive way to explore a convention, to be sure, but it was cool to be 'high rollers' for this particular event. Of course, Katie could have gotten her Furiosa makeover with or without the VIP badge - and that was easily the best part of our whole convention experience 😁 Thanks so much for watching! I don't know how we missed this comment, but we are so sorry that we left you hanging out in the void! 😅
