This week it is more pre-clerkship online medical school for me, and I'm now realizing just how much I learned over the past 2 years (as well as how much I seem to have forgotten which has me feeling little insecure about my current knowledge base).

ABOUT ME
My name is Kian (23), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile
I'm still learning how to make videos and I look forward to seeing how this channel IMPROVES and EVOLVES. Constructive feedback always welcome!

Things will get so much easier to remember when you start seeing clinical patients. Don’t worry about knowing “everything” before you start on the wards. Love, a South African junior doctor

I felt the something similar to what you said in the blog last week. I felt drained and just mentally exhausted. I really missed human interaction. Study with friends, have a conversation with a professor, going to lecture, even just walking to a lecture. I think it really help have a clear goal of what I wanted to learn and focus on that goal. I started meditating and I did a well being check up the beginning of my week. That way I could be aware of what were my obstacles and how to acknowledge them and overcome them. It really help to have your videos too! Your 5 hrs study session help me keep motivated and accountable. Thank you!

These RU-vidr medical students are really crazy productive. They are able to accomplish their studying goals an also get time to film and edit! I can't even manage my studying 😭😭 ( an Indian Medical student)

We start classes at 8 😓😓😓. And we have to watch practical videos too.. and we have assignments and too less of a time to study. Online med school is doing wayy more than regular medschool
