We're ringing in a whole new year by celebrating New Year's Eve 2024 in Hershey, PA! Every New Year’s Eve, downtown Hershey pulls out all the stops to ring in the New Year! Join us for our full day's experience from breakfast to midnight on Chocolate Avenue as we meet and dance with the iconic Hershey characters, jam to some amazing live music, stomp out some bubble wrap and - at 11:59pm - turn the calendar over by watching a 7-foot, 300-pound Hershey’s kiss ascend to the top of a cable setting off an incredible laser and fireworks spectacular! We had an absolute blast in downtown Hershey, PA to wrap up our 2023 in sweet style 🍫 This video covers our entire day from breakfast to midnight, but we won't take it personally if you want to jump straight to 12:42 to see the New Year's Eve festivities. It was an all-around amazing day and night at the sweetest place on earth! Weirdly the Hershey Kiss actually goes up and never comes back down, instead of being dropped like the traditional NYE ball haha but we kind of like that better! It's as if we're raising a flag to salute the passing of the prior year 😁 2023 was incredible and 2024 is hopefully going to be every bit as exciting with all new adventures on the way! What a fun way to ring in the new year! 😊💕 breakfast at first watch looks good. Those gingerbread donuts look WOW. Your meals look good too! We should have checked out the hershey museum. The tastings look fun. Good job finishing the super dark chocolate Tim 😂 the Hershey and friends dance party is cute. Even miss Pennsylvania is attending the event lol! Cute. I love that they drop the giant Hershey kiss as the new years ball lol! That’s such a fun idea! The fireworks and laser show is perfect to end the evening. Despite having visited Hershey dozens of times over the past several years, we'd never done the Hershey Story Museum or the Chocolate Tasting until this trip in late December! I have to say, we definitely should have made time for it earlier on. It was fascinating to learn about the Milton's life and the journey that took him into the chocolate game! 😊 As for the actual NYE festivities, we had a blast watching the kiss raise and partying with the Hershey characters. I think we'd definitely do it again, although hopefully next year we can expect better weather! haha thanks so much for watching, Meg! Happy New Year! ✨

Hersheypark definitely knows how to put on an event!!! We actually have a first watch about 5 minutes from where we live, but have never been! The food did look amazing - definitely seemed super fresh. We’ll have to check it out sometime soon! The chocolate tasting experience looked very unique and fun! I’m typically not as into the darker chocolates, but can appreciate a really nice one and am okay with a little bit of “bitter”taste. How fun to be able to try some from different countries! The dance party, live performances, and everything they put on for the new year looked like such a good time! The giant Hershey kiss is SO cool. Your NYE looked far more eventful than ours staying in and playing Disney Trivia 😅 Awesome vlog as always. Thanks so much for sharing 😊 Happy New Year to both of you! Haha we've spent many a New Year's Eve playing board games at home, but this year we were determined to do something fun and make some memories! Milk chocolate all the way for me, but Katie loves her dark chocolates. Believe it or not, this event is put on by the actual town of Hershey adjacent the park...but the iconic Hersheypark characters still make an appearance, of course 😁 The kiss raise is a tradition that's been long celebrated in the area, but it was our first time seeing it in person! Every bit as incredible and hype-inducing as others' vlogs have led us to believe! Thanks for watching, you guys! 2024 is going to be a wild year! ✨

Have you guys ever been to Williamsburg Winery in VA? I've never been but heard amazing things about it! They have a hotel & restaurants on the property as well! Incase you guys are into wine tastings and such!

That was so awesome y'all! We love First Watch and would you say it's comparable to Iron Rooster? It's similar! They do have their Roostarts! We have done that chocolate tasting many a moons ago when I first moved to Maryland sooooo 13 yrs ago. 👀 And it's exactly the same one! Woah! I also got it as a Groupon which included the museum too. I love dark chocolate so Team Katie! And Chad happens to love lighter chocolate so Team Tim for him 😂. That's super smart of y'all to enjoy the stage stuff before moving to where the Hersheys Kiss was! And it's an amazing view for the fireworks, like wow! Sorry that it got rained out on y'all but glad you pushed on through. We know the feeling all too well with being rained out. And it does put a damper on activities and mood. Chad is a man of taste and culture, I’ve always said so 😂 haha truth be told, we had every intention of catching a little more of the live music before relocating - but the camera was getting SOAKED so we had to abandon ship a little early to take shelter in the car. It was always our intention to grab a spot near the kiss in time for the raise, though, and that part still worked out perfectly! ✨ Always great to see friends, especially friends that have long missed running into one another. Happy New Year Tim & Katie! It would have just been so rude not to get the donut holes haha I have to say, whenever you show us the food at Hershey, every single thing looks so good. I want to go there just for the food! :D Love the look of the chocolate tasting, personally I dont like dark chocolate, its much too bitter for me, I love milk and white choc! Noooo not rain, cold you can handle but rain just sucks. But thank you for sticking it out to show us the fireworks Here's to 2024! ^_^

Right? The donut holes made themselves available for only a limited time, after all! I know you get me, Hannah 😂 Food is one of the things that Hershey has always done well, particularly since the opening of the Chocolatier, but after this visit we knew it was safe to say that downtown Hershey pulls out all the culinary stops too! We're thinking about going back just to do a snack crawl at small shops and eateries haha also so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who doesn't love dark chocolate! Milk chocolate all the way for moi. It was worth sticking it out through the rain just to see the incredible fireworks show at midnight, glad we muddled through!
