Vlog Practice #21: Playing with 2D animation & 3D compositing via Blender, Procreate & After Effects 

With going back to the day job after a week off, I wanted to make sure I still got in some creative practice this week. So I tried to use each day to try my hand at some different kind of tool or technique. That started off on Sunday with using Polycam to capture 3D models of real-world objects and compositing them into shots via Blender. Then on Monday I played around with a sketch effect using After Effects. On Tuesday, I just wanted to see if I could make a sequence out of calling in for jury duty. Wednesday was my first go at hand-drawn 2D animation. Thursday was testing out some shots for a skit for the day job. And then Friday was trying out a different approach to storyboarding animations for work videos, with a little Procreate painting practice tacked on.
