VNV Nation Classical M'era Luna 2022 (Upscaled) 

I love the live VNV performances I've seen. Ronan seems so emotional on stage, and it makes the songs seem so much more poignant. As if 'Illusion' wasn't enough of a tear-jerker before..

The song "Illusion" is and will be forever my most liked song by VNV Nation. This song speaks to my heart and my feelings.

WOW vor 20 Jahren hat ein leider verstorbener Freund (Carsten ❤ ) mir VNV Nation vorgespielt. Ich war sofort absolut begeistert. Dachte, nach vielen Konzerten geht es nicht besser. IRRTUM........Das Konzert war atemberaubend und emotional. Ich war so gerührt. Ronan, deine Musik sorgt dafür, dass ich weinen kann und muss. Wenn es mir gesundheitlich mal nicht gut geht, höre ich VNV NATION und es geht wieder aufwärts. Das schaffst DU Ronan. An meinen lieben Freund Carsten........DANKE, MEIN HELD !!!!!!❤❤‍🩹

was ein Abend im Tanzcafe vor 20 Jahren alles verändert hat, als ich VNV da zum ersten mal hörte und sofort den Dj fragte wer das ist. So viele Lieder dieser Band die mich auch heute noch begleiten und, wie shine, die Tränen fließen lassen. Vielen Dank an Ronan Harris und diese Präsentation mit Orchester und anhand der ganzen Kommentare, die das selbe fühlen "Musik ist der Schlüssel zur Seele" und es immer wieder schön zu sehen (zu lesen) das ich da nicht alleine bin.

Bin zwar ein Metaller aber Tränen in den Augen und Gänsehaut. So etwas wundervolles hab ich selten gehört.Mit 52 Jahren erfüllt es mein Herz mit Glück. Danke dafür.

Ronan Harris is a beautiful man and he's an extremely emotional individual, so it's not unusual that his music touches your heart. It's amazing at how many people, who aren't into Goth/Industrial/EBM music, but adore VNV Nation. I always play music in my car without thinking about it, but I had too take my mother to the store. She said, "Who's this....???" So, I went to turn off the music and she said "Stop, I love this....!!!" I bought her VNV's music ― I'm now without her for three years, so thank you Ronan for connecting us through your music.

I was there, pretty far away from the stage because it felt like everyone came to see this act, and we could not get any closer. People around me were hugging, swaying, dancing and singing along. Everyone was so emotional, it was incredible being in that crowd.

Dazu fällt mir nur ein Wort ein: Großartig, Emotional, einfach nur unheimlich toll. Und als Leipziger bin ich natürlich stolz auf unsere Philharmoniker. Danke !!!!!!!!!

It is the first time that I listen to this wonderful band, believe me I am crying, but they are tears of joy... it is such a beautiful band, so beautiful and above all a band that gives you so much peace. RU-vid sometimes can surprise you with wonderful gifts like this , the truth was nice to have met with their music , with their art , with the beauty of their melodies . Each time he sings "don't you cry now" I'm tearing up. Illusion is more than just music, it's coming and going right from soul to soul.

I watched this entire concert in tears.... This is exquisite perfection. Thank God for Heaven; otherwise, there would be no VNV Nation..... Ronan Harris is a gift from God !!!!!!

VNV nation has been a part of my life since before they released their first album in 1995. Ronan has a epic and unique voice, and I hope he keeps going for many more decades

In 2016 I travelled to NYC from Boston on the train to see VNN at the Playstation theater. The marketing template was the same as Resonance at first and I thought that is what was going to be toured at first, but it was his regular production. I remember looking out over Central Park from the Park Lane Hotel on the 38th floor listening to Resonance - Standing...before my life fell apart.

This is just on a completely another level. The music, the arrangement, the emotion... Pure art in its most beautiful form. VNV Nation is definately one of the greatest music discoveries of my life. Love those guys and their imagination translated into energy and sound.

Hi from Florida USA, I couldn't help it! I cried throughout the entire performance!! I am so glad Ronan did not try to sing beloved again this time with the orchestra. He would have cried even more... Fabulous performance. Goosebumps!!

Einfach nur genial. Die Songs im klassischen Gewand sind der totale Hammer. Und wieder ein kleines Meer aus Salz

Sind es nicht diese schönen Momente die einen diese Verrückte Welt für einen Moment vergessen lassen . Auch ich als Metal Freak höre solch eine Musik sehr gerne . So etwas gutes gehört auf eine CD bzw. auf Blu-Ray

Folks who only think of goth music as grim, dark, and angry have never experienced the absolutely exquisite joy of a VNV performance.

Had the chance and pleasure to see this live. Resolution is for me the best composition out of these, such an upbeat and determined song.

I love all these songs, but I don't think anything can touch this version of "Standing", it's just on another level

Is strange and powerful how an artist like Ronan can have me fall in love, cry and meditate about certain things in life. If I could I would spend the eternity loving and caring on him. But I'm just another one who probably feels like that as well. One lifetime is not enough of VNV.

I became aware of VNV Nation today. A music producer friend who produces synthpop had created a post on Instagram today and under this post there was music from VNV Nation. I was so enthusiastic about the music that I went straight to RU-vid and came across this concert here. I believe that I am a person who is very spiritual and is also very sensitive and open to a lot. What I read here under the comments and the music to it just made me speechless. I thought until today that I had already experienced everything musically in my life? I thought that I had already experienced everything as a person? But I found that this is not the case in both cases. Just unbelievable a strong band with a very touching story and a fantastic concert! Respekt! Best regards Andy! 😊

For those new to VNV Nation and Techno Goth culture: After Sophie Lancaster, a goth girl, was murdered by some thugs, Ronan Harris (VnV Nation frontman) called her parents to express his condolences and he even dedicated this song to her in a concert that took place in the Infest Music Festival. This dedication gave Illusion a lot of fame and it's also known as Sophie Lancaster's Song. That murder changed the Techno Goth culture forever and gave visibility to the everyday discrimination goth folks suffer. Also, the song seems to speak about suicide/discrimination... (VnV's songs can be interpreted in many ways, so maybe others might not see it this way), wich is also a taboo thing till this day. In the non-acoustic concerts, people scream the chorus at the top of their lungs because they identify with it (being rejected for being different). Those who are OG will know whan i'm talking about. In one interview (I don't remember wich it was) he said that he was rejected for being different (he didn't specify the sense) and that his songs are his life experience.

Danke dafür das du regelmäßig aufm Mera bist und dafür, dass du dich getraut hast mit einem sehr coolem Orchester zu spielen. Für mich und meine Familie war es ein Fest.

Beautiful. Wish I had been there. Having said that I managed to land a couple of tickets for their gig at 'The Electric Ballroom' in London next May. Seen them a couple of times before and always a great experience.
