Peter Heppner- one of the most beautiful voices, so unique and mesmerising. The first time I've heard his voice was when he collaborated with Umbra et Imago 25 years ago!
You're moving on You're just doing what you want And I can't find it wrong I know for sure you would be gone You wouldn't stay with me If something better comes along
I like some Devo songs. WHy do you want to know? I like a lot of different music styles. I like a lot of different electronic music styles. I like different rock styles. I occasionally listen even to classical. I prefer music with character and some type of meaning, musically speaking (that is, not necessarily the lyrics, but the music itself). SO, if you get all side projects from Fronline Assembly, for example, Like Delerium, Intermix, Noise Unit, Synaethesia, these are all instrumental music, with no lyrics, but they have *a lot* of meaning. But I like old school rap, like Ice-T, Public Enemy, Run DMC,, Beastie Boys... different type of music, different types of meaning, much more lyrical and vocal meaning. I like metal and hardcore, again, other sentiments, more rage, aggression, vocals are VERY important in hardcore and metal, it completely changes the type of music. I prefer much mor raw aggressive vocals then melodic vocals in rock/metal (so I prefer vocals like Slayer, Ministry, Swamp Terrorists, Biohazard). But I also like mixtures, what bands like Linkin Park did, Limp Bizkit, Nine Inch Nails, etc... mixing slower parts with very melodic parts and then very aggressive punch you in the fc type of parts. I also like normal music, like the best music from Madonna, CIndy Lauper, or DIsney/Nickelodeon people like Britney, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavigne. SPecially because practically all of these music are not writeen, produced or arranged by these people. SO there are many very god songs written, and then made popular by whores like RIhanna or whatever. Even Dave Rave Ogilvie from Skinny Puppy mixed and partly produced that Carly Rae Jepsen pop hit song. But, anyway, to me it's more about the music then the people. Of course pretty girls will help you like more certain pop songs, but only if the song is already good. And there is A LOT OF CRAP out there... specially these pseudo-music from YOLO pot smoking drunk junkies covered in random tattoos and talking irrelevant shit about superfluous, vulgar, mundane, common, boring things.
