Wow! She puts layers of emotions in, just by her expanded voice. The first part sends chills down your spine. What a gripping, exciting takent! So many colors in just one word sung- beautifully amazing. Just saying " Spectacular and moving!" does not seem to do her performance justice.

Part of the reason why she sounds “different” from a soprano is because she is a contralto who naturally has such a particular timbre that carries across her range. You hear it best when she projects her chest voice like at the end, the darkness and warmth of it is not unlike what you would hear from a male baritone. Obviously she can’t sing as low as a baritone (maybe she could when she’s older) but her physiology makes her sound like one. And this is of course remarkable for an 18 year old girl, whose voice now at 20 is still years from being fully developed. Even as young as 12 she possessed this vocal quality (if you listen to Там нет меня) that only became more enhanced after she hit puberty at 15 (if you listen to Wicked Game)

If you would like another very talented vocalist from a different genre theres Soprano Floor Jansen and the band she is in is called Nightwish. They are best live and a good start for this band is Ghost Love Score that was filmed at Wacken Open Air in 2013. The band is outstanding too.

Comparing Dimash and Diana. Hmmm. What to say? Both are great, no doubt about it. This is my subjective opinion, which opinions actually tend to be. Subjective. I like Dimash, he is an incredible singer, but too technical at the times. Diana tends to be quite down-to-the-earth. More performance orientated, she shows more the emotional side, Dimash is more technical, he ''needs'' to show his abilities and range, Diana is more about interpretation and delivery. Don't get me wrong, they are both great, but they are different, they have different approach to music It's more like apples to oranges comparison. I'd like to see them both live.

The only thing I disagree is the male voice, she never sings with a male voice, she has a very low female voice.
