I bet, knowing Dimash’s passion for music of all genres, he would love to sing in a gospel church! He once said if you cut his brain open you’d find only music. Lol. The shoe throwing I’ve seen from Jennifer Hudson when she loves something A LOT hahaha. Such a great tradition. I’m down in Tasmania, Australia and I listen to Dimash every day of mylife now. The greatest talent of this generation and the West hasn’t really caught on fully yet. He’s a vocal beast, plays 8 instruments, composes, sings in 12 different languages, has trained since he was 5 (just turned 26). He is so so so dedicated to his craft. He’s a joy of a human being too.

Hi, Dileesa, Actually, he talks in a normal voice for a guy who is 26 (as of yesterday.) Not only does he have the voice of an angel (or several angels), but he has an extremely, sincerely, sweet and kind personality. He was born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing (even as an infant) and began giving small performances when he was 2. He started in Music Academy when he was 5. Since then, he has practiced, or trained, for 3 hours every morning. He has expanded his range up to 6 octaves plus 5 half-tones. Those thousands of hours have paid off big time. He dearly loves to give a good show to his "Dears" (fans.) I strongly urge you to watch him sing "Ogni Pietra," which demonstrates his ability to switch from low registers to high ones---yet the performance is not just a vocal demonstration, it's a beautiful and stunning work of art. It was written by celebrated Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to provide appropriate music for this unique voice. Recently, Dimash has worked with the Italian movie makers who have produced a sci-fi production called Creators: the Past. In it, Dimash sings a song (or perhaps more than one) as background music. It's definitely worth a good listen. It's called "Across Endless Dimensions." There is one in which you hear the singing but there's only a still picture of him. In the other one, you see and hear him actually singing. Both are worth a listen, but if you have time for only one, the second one, where you see him singing, is probably the most impressive and enjoyable. People tend to think Dimash is small and slight, but actually he stands 6'3" tall. This lengthy grace lends pleasure to watching his stage presence when he sings, for instance, "Sinful Passions." He said he doesn't speak much before concerts, and warms up from around an hour beforehand. He talks like a normal guy (go back and listen at the end where he speaks)
You haven't heard anything yet..he has a powerful and gorgeous lower register.....well that can be said of every register, I suppose, in Dimash's case. Dimash has been training since the age of 5. He sang soprano when he was young and then maintained the skill and range by continuing to utilize and work in the upper registers even as hs vocal chords matured and grew thicker and longer, giving him access to the lower ranges also.... I think that because he did not abandon the higher registers as he mautured and his natural voice lowered, the folds of his vocal chords have become incredibly supple and flexible and his ability to manipulate and contol the musculature attached to them developed to a very high level of precision and capability .
If you had not stopped you would have been able to hear him speak. He has an surprisingly deep and very calm speaking voice considering how extremly high he can sing with complete ease.

Welocome to the world of Dimash. SOS is a song in French written in the mid ‘70’s for a popular French singer who had a wide vocal range. Dimash just turned 26. Well known in Asia after his performances in the Singer competition in Hong Kong. He is only now arriving in the conscience of America through youtube. He performed in NYCity back in December for his first US concert. It was fabulous. I would recommend if you’re interested in Dimash, youtube the Singer series o 2017. He was 22 yrs old at the time. You haven’t heard anything yet when it comes to Dimash’s vocal ability. His range is over 6 octaves, he sings in 12 different languages, plays multiple instruments and he is a very humble, kind, extremely polite 26yr old man. He has trained since the age of 5, he is University trained, just received his Masters in composition and is going for his Doctorate. He was on tour until it had to be postponed due to the epidemic. I loved your reaction and will subscribe to your channel. If that was the first song you reacted to there are many more to enjoy like one Dimash does in a place called GAKKU surrounded by many fans. He does a whistle note in that that is off the scale. The singer I believe rehearses 3 hours a day and last December he sang to a sold out concert in New York city. To me Dimash is the best singer by far in the world.
You cultivate that by discovering your child's talent when he is 5 years old and getting him vocal lessons. He is 26 now so he has 20+ years of vocal education (he is a professional opera singer though he has two degrees, one in contemporary music as well). He is also a brilliant example how vocal lessons help bring boys through puberty with their voices intact (though tbh he is an extreme example of one of a kind talent too). He is from Kazakhstan btw, he lives in China, he sung in French at a Russian festival 😂 but that encapsulates Dimash well. If you hear more from him, you will hear different styles, languages, instruments (yes, he plays more than one and no, it is definitely not fair 😂). Welcome to Dimash world!
SubiDubi DuDa . Dimash was offered a Professional Opera Singer position at Astana Opera, but he turned down the offer, to the path that he is on. He has never performed specifically and professionally as an Opera Singer.
@SubiDubi DuDa, Dimash doesn’t live in China he’s just been working there, he still lives in Kazakhstan. He’s never been a professional opera singer although he was offered a position with the Astana Opera but he declined to pursue his own path. He has also received his Masters degree and will be pursuing his doctorate while still working. He definitely has a God given talent to go with all his years of training which is why in my opinion he is the greatest vocalist of all time! I’ve been a Dear since 2017 and I’m so grateful for the Chinese show “Singer” because had it not been for that many of us would’ve never heard of him and I can’t imagine that.

His fans don't promote that show, and we appreciate reactors who avoid it. Look for videos with English subtitles for the non-English songs, so you can read the lyrics. (He sings in many languages, and speaks 2 fluently - Kazakh (he's from Kazakhstan) and Russian. He's learning English. SOS is in French.)

He was invited to the project as an experiment, as a foreign contestant.
