I fell in love with his ability to tell a story, his appreciation of all who inform and support him, his closeness to his family, his love for his elders and his traditions, the way he makes me feel deep in my soul when he channels his pure angel sound, the joy he has on stage. And then there is his range and his vocal skills. He himself considers his vocal range his less important ability.

Dileesa, thank you for your Dimash reaction. I can hear you have a beautiful voice too. Dimash for many of us Dears is not just about his vocal abilities. He has a very humble heart as well. That’s why he is so loved by millions of people around the world. Many Dears would travel to other countries just to hear him sing at his concerts. Not everyone will appreciate his talent, and it’s ok. Dimash stated this himself in one of his interviews. For those of us who enjoy the music of Dimash, allow us to enjoy him without unnecessary belittling comments. And those who do not care for Dimash music, that’s your choice. You can go and listen to your favorite artist.
@Kirkunik1

The thing about many people today is they aren't comfortable with music of a more serious nature.... something deeper or more complicated than two chords and a beat. Many are locked into the formula pace, melody line and emphasis. Dimash is not a freak show. He is beyond that. A singer of depth and vision. A true artist. Multi-dimensional...Dimash is like a rich fabric. He has no comparison. He's redefining the musical landscape. It's not just the notes. It's his essence that connects...it's new...it's quality...it's real. Great voices are everywhere. But the majority sound the same. Dimash brings a whole different perspective. A different heartbeat. A different level. What Dimash has....you can't teach.

Oh, what does he have? Passion? Skills? Many other singers have that too. The problem with Dimash's fans is, that they hype him up too much as if he is a god or sth. People have their subjective taste, I, for instance, don't feel anything when listening to him. It is what it is.

@Lrdlzd

@@bimotok757 No, it is because many don't understand vocal technique, that they praise him so much. He is not bad, neither is he exeptionally good. It is abou the quality of notes, not the vocal range. His high notes are super squeaky and his low register isn't that impressive either.
@Lrdlzd
@Lrdlzd 4 года назад
@@bimotok757 Any decent opera singer would destroy him vocally. Asian countries always adjust the mics to make the performances aa perfect as possible. Take his mic away and you would barely hear him and if you did, then his high notes would sound unpleasant. Unless ofc you can provide a video of him singing acapella or acoustic. Then I could look more into it

Dimash immerses himself in every song. It's like he is the song. Go to his RU-vid page or his channel and watch some of his interviews. He is an amazing person. The composer for Across endless Dimensions originally wrote the song as an instrumental for the end credits for the movie "Creator-Past. His people turned him on to Dimash and he redid the song for his voice. He had to use three people to introduce the song to Dimash in order to cover his range and the soprano was unable to do that final high octive that Dimash executed flawlessly. Please listen to it. I do love how you react t his music and comments. So many others are just silly and comedic just to get views. Thank you.

Everything you watched at Dimash's was covers. Look at his own songs, especially those in which he is the composer, and in some the author of the text and script. First of all, this is "The Story of One Sky" (official video), as well as "Omir", "Stranger", "Ave Maria", "Be with me". I tried to choose very different works. I would also like to mention the songs based on real events: "Ikanaide" from the Tokyo Jazz Festival and "Daybreak" from the concert in Bastau. And also, of course, songs in his native Kazakh language using national instruments: "Samaltau" at the Tokyo Jazz Festival or digital show, "Daididau+Adai" in Bastau, "Durdaraz", "Unforgettable day" in Gakku.

Hmmmh. Dimash is a story teller. A narrator that places himself inside the the story. They are not distinct personalities thee dynamics are the painting of emotion and disposition; pensive and thoughtful, fraught and distressed, hopeful, tentative, full of joy. I think this is the meaning of his tapestry in a song. He is painting the story from inside the point of view of the subject of the story.

Laura/ British Rather mystified by your reaction. l myself a trained Opera singer studied and sung both in England and Italy, and love all genre of good music, more so in particular, all that pertains to the voice. l have listen to several current Opera singers, voice coaches from all over the world and their comments have been meticulous and educational. Dimash is quite astounding not only for his vocal abilities, but he is a master story teller. Perhaps it would be profitable is you read the lyrics of his songs in English. Also a very beautiful song is; autumn strong, which he learnt in Chinese in one week !! There is no switching of registers etc... just the sheer beauty of the vocal line and the emotional element. He is also classically trained and has an impressive resume in this respect. l would add that not all are attuned to the American culture and style of singing, especially in regards to his riffs, which to me was a very minor observation as a whole. Just some thoughts and considerations. Thank you and best wishes...

This is the festival "New Wave" in Sochi (Russia). There was a competition of young performers and concerts of Russian artists. Dimash acted as a guest at the jubilee concert of the Kazakh group "A-studio". Baigali Serkebaev - the author of the song - plays the piano here. It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song! Melismа in the finale together with the last "Дай" - 23 seconds! Dimash used kazakh singing technique. Saha people ( Russia) uses this technique too.

Dimash is a Musical virtuoso in our time. Dimash Neo-classicism (Bel canto) performance style is an innovation in music, which was very badly needed. Musical performances had become complacent, repetitive and un-interesting. Dimash’ refreshing style entertains the listener, He brings you into the story of the song, heart, soul and emotion. I am glad to be around in a time to appreciate the musical genius of Dimash.

Dimash can sing different music genres like pop, opera, popera, folk, world, rock and rap. But he has more talents like writing songs, sings in 12 languages, can dance, plays at least 8 instruments, has the biggest range in live performances, perfect mic control, and breath control, has stage presence and can sing with emotion and be a storyteller to name some.

What about his ability to emotionally draw you into the story of the song using all humanly possible nuances. Your being wowed only on the technical parts. Did you know the band behind him just lost their lead singer. They invited him to perform with them and as a tribute for their loss he composed this rendition. That vocal acrobatic he does starts out with a traditional chant paying homage to the dead. All his songs have deep meaningful purposes that he spends a great deal of time composing to convey the story of the song. In other words he is seriously deep

@@Dileesa so sorry about that you can't connect emotionally to Dimash. You asked why continuing to react to Dimash's songs. He dances at a Tribute to Michael jackson that is his idol (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SG7Nn7Dn3UU.html). He does soundtracks at Across Endeless Dimensions (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9efIWFhD8a4.html) or Eternal Memories (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LFp3FT1DNd4.html). It is funny and tender to see how he connects to the audience at his concerts. You may like Ogni Pietra (Olimpico), an inspiring opera duet (aria?) in Italian for the olympics and perhaps Kazakhstan's independence day. Written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash. The orchestration is not traditional, but more modern/rock style. Love is Like a Dream is also written by Igor Krutoy, but about 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva, then adapted for Lara Fabian and now for Dimash. You can find YT videos of all three and Igor is on the piano for each (aka Love Like A Dream). Dimash's version of it is a little like Sinful Passion, but it has a middle section that is gorgeously delicate. In Russian, so get the captions and auto-translate working. In the music video for a scifi movie, Across Endless Dimensions, he weaponizes his whistle notes. I'm not sure how he did it - maybe you can explain what he did there? Oh, yeah, it is in English. For an extreme song, try Diva Dance (the blue alien song in 5th Element!). His Bastau performance is best. He's wearing a light lavendar asian style suit jacket. There are no words so don't worry about translation.

I think you would particularly enjoy the song he sings called “know,” However there are several variations and they are all different. Some are just of him vocalizing the entire song, and others with words; in somewhat of what we would call a “scat” at the end that is so amazing. It’s is truly breathtaking. I always think there isn’t anything that could surprise me anymore with Dimash, alas..... I am wrong each time. His voice is perfection. And you have a pristine voice as well 😉

No she will not be. As she said in one of her comments: 'He is literally not doing anything a real singer can’t do with great training.' Do you think she is interested of Dimash's art? I think she doesn't understand anything from this.

L9ve your reaction but there are so many styles to DIMASH... he doesn't always start off breathy.... I listened to him for 2 years now and he does operatic, pop, rock, ethnic... I'm not criticising you but I think you need to listen to more of him xxx

Yay, you noticed the soulful run near the end. That's my second fave part, the first being the mysterious ethnic part (I've seen many comments about the origin of that, I'm not sure yet what it was). There are many more songs of his you may like, and each one of them is totally different from the other. :)

Dimash is incomparable so you’re right that there is no-one to compare him to. He has raised the bar so high that no-one else could reach his level of mastery. Thank you for your reaction to any & all Dimash songs.❤️🥰

One BIG reason you should watch Dimash is to show your students examples of the RIGHT WAY to sing and entertain (vocals, use of microphone, posture, stage presence, connection with audience, how to use a big stage, recognizing the band/dancers, keeping the performance visually interesting even if you’re alone on stage, what to do with your hands, how to inject emotion into the song, etc.). For example, his performance of “Daybreak” left me in tears. Based on a tragic true story, but the way he performed magnified the emotion! (Use Gloria Wu’s RU-vid channel for the important backstory and English subtitles. No copyright strikes.)

you want to surprise with dimash there they go in "ascolta la voce" sing an A1 in "across endles dimension" makes a record of whistles that Maria carey herself would envy, in "ogni pietra" she sings operatically and practically all the voices of the opera and if you want a classic voice where she sings with aida garifulina and lara fabian "ti amo cossi "And as canbat the foklore of his land" samaltau "you're welcome hahaha

You'll be wowed more with Bastau concert - SOS & Diva Dance (yeah, that one of The Fifth Element). Take in account that concert lasted two hours & the latter song in the middle! I'll admit Diva Dance ain't really important as a guide towards students for most vocal classes but wowed nonetheless! Opera 2 - the one known sung by Vitas - is an interesting one for how Dimash owns the stage & plays with the audience. Maybe you'll like that one for that reason ^^

Thank you for reacting to my favorite performer. What blows my mind about this guy is that in every performance he does something new and unexpected. I know he has taken inspiration from Michael Jackson and made a tribute to him and also made a cover of Uptown Funk, but in my opinion those performances fade in comparison to his more dramatic performances where his vocal really shines. Other recommendations for Dimash performances worth a reaction: - Ogni Pietra - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-raBHw-zOT5s.html - Sinful Passion - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W9FlDMCo8LU.html - Your Love - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a0yO7Sy9IcY.html - Across Endless Dimensions - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9efIWFhD8a4.html - Love is like a dream (personally I like the performance in which he is wearing a purple suit) - Know (new wave performance) - Daybreak (Bastau 2017) - You'll need to research the background for this song first, it makes it even more heartbreaking. - All by Myself (The Singer 2017) - Unforgettable Day (Gakku 2017) ... in which he hits the highest note I have ever heard (not on your piano) - Love of tired Swans - Screaming (Dimash original song)

I just enjoy watching people enjoy Dimash. If you don't enjoy Dimash, don't watch him. I wouldn't want to watch someone pretending to find him interesting if you really didn't. And if you have to ask us why you should keep watching him, it shows how uninterested you really are. Most reactors already know why they want to watch him.

I dont get why people are criticizing her. Her ear is more accustomed to modern pop music, whats the problem with that? She can definitely recongnise Dimash's talent. If she thinks she already know all Dimash's capabilities let her, she will be surprised everytime like it happened on her previous videos. If she cant understand his music, maybe with time listening to him more she will start to appreciate his style more. By fans criticizing her that way they may take that possibility out, she might not want to listen to him anymore. Fans do more harm then good to the artist when they do that

SeeliaVachon This is one of the most bizarre and uninformed comments I’ve seen. She clearly enjoyed watching Dimash, not only did she admit that she was quite impressed after thinking that she wouldn’t be, but she also said he was “incomparable” and that the closest comparison she could find was Lisa Fischer. Maybe you don’t know who Lisa Fischer is, but that is about as high a compliment that anyone could give any singer working in popular music, and even more so if you watch Dileesa’s vocal analysis video of Lisa where she spends the whole time gushing not only over her natural voice but her technical skills. In the context of Dileesa’s work here on YT there isn’t any higher compliment that she could’ve given him. Some of you Dimash stans are just toxic, if a Reactor doesn’t give him whatever mythical level of praise you think he deserves you start tripping. Maybe you need to take your own advice, if you don’t enjoy watching Dileesa, then don’t watch Dileesa . . .
