IDOL MV is the most viewed MV in 24 hours.. With 56.2m views.. (Edit: BTS boy with luv hold the 24hr record now..) Actually this is a completely different MV from their other songs.. That's the reason that fans got crazy about this...
I'm gonna explain some of my thoughts on the song They used a Korean traditional beats/instruments and had a South African influence. This is a very good song!! Instead of doing an EDM electronic kinda song they decided to do an experiment. This is a very unique song. I think the song means they already accepted who they are like they don't care if you call them "idol" or an "artist" , call them what you want. They love theirself and no one can stop them. A music producer said that they used a sad chords but it's very upbeat. So basically in Korea, if you're an "idol" (who dances , sings and raps or like those kpop groups) you aren't an artist: it's like a stigma in Korea
cavianp the music video also showcases all the things that get said about kpop and used as insults and BTS made it into something that basically says "this is what you say about us, but we don't care anymore, we will succeed anyway. We are how we are and we will do what we want and love ourselves the way we are" Hence the overly colourful music video and the plastic versions of themselves and all the effects. It's a big F you to everyone trying to dictate to them what they should do.
You haven´t reacted to Fake Love yet right? You don´t have to necessarily but I´m pretty sure you would enjoy it (it still is their most famous song until IDOL takes over). The style is very different but it´s also not a ballad. If you want a song where you can go into more depth for the singing I would recommend looking at Save me, or maybe even Best of Me. Edit: or I´m fine. Another pretty known song is DNA (again very different from what you are used to when it comes to BTS) Or Airplane Pt.2 Ok I´m just gonna stop here otherwise I´m going to list every single song there is. P.S: The videos where the current singer/rapper is shown and lyrics in Korean Hangul/Romaji and English are also given are mostly called colour coded lyrics. There are multiple for most songs, though they pretty much never are live versions

Could you check out the kpop group called SEVENTEEN, they have thirteen members and they write and choreograph their own songs. I recommend the group's song 'Thanks,' the leaders' song 'Change Up,' and the vocal team's 'Pinwheel.'

There’s so much disgusting hate on this new song just because Nicki Minaj collaborated with BTS. I think it’s an AMAZING song personally, the haters should get some hearing aids because I don’t think they’re listening to the song right. Most of the people who hate haven’t even listened to the whole song so.. Anyways. Don’t hate on this; it’s an amazing song and BTS work their arses off to produce outstanding music for army and they do their damn best. So respect them.
Could you react to some EXO because they are really talented singers so it would be interesting to see your reaction. BTS in comparison has stronger rapping while EXO has stronger vocals.
