The guys chose to sing this in its original key as sung by Cam, a female country singer. Just proves their lack of having a female in the group is no detriment--they just let their profundo BASS handle it! 🤣 LOVE the versatility of our amazingly talented fellas!! 🥰. (The addition of Chance and his lower range to the group has freed Tim up to showcase his amazing 5-octave range a lot more!) Every member of Home Free could absolutely be a solo ⭐ star ⭐ but their harmonies together are MAGIC!! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree
This song is one of my favorites. We usually ask reactors to wait to react to this song till they are familiar with the individual members. Then they are surprised at hearing the switch ups in the voices. Tim who is known for his bass can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. The original song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original range.
When this first came out, the focus was on Tim singing in the same range as the (other) tenors, and Chance going full bass. We knew Tim could go high and Chance could sing low, but wow! We see these ranges often enough now that they do not shock, though it's still impressive, but Adam's amazing vocal percussion remains a standout.
Beautiful vocals on this one! Once again Adam Rupp is not human, he has to be an Android. How in the world can a human sound perfectly like a drum set, or whatever else he chooses to sound like. Home Free is just incredible. They surely have had Adam Rupp checked out to see if he is human!
First time finding your channel. I love Home Free so I stayed and listened to your analysis. I hope to hear more # Home Free. 🎶❤️🎵🦋. Great song and great reaction. 🙏♥️
Home Free. When speechlessness becomes a habit. Mayday is not among my favourites from them (but that's on behalf of the song, not of them), nevertheless I like it. And I liked your reaction. 😊 What me surprised was Tim singing so high - so far I only knew him as a bass (even basso profundo). He has such a huge voice range. For better distinction, Adam Rupp is called Adam and Adam Chance is called Chance. In case you consider to react to more stuff of Home Free, my favourites would be: Home Free - Folsom Prison Blues ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IdYhgQbsdRs.html Home Free - Do You Hear What I Hear? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wIQQDYaoWpc.html Together with Man of Constant Sorrow and this here all this already shows their amazing ability to go into different genres. Plus, the videos are fitting the respective song very well. In 'Folsom Prison Blues' there is a note that goes right down to the center of the earth. 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' has a great musical depth and may be a really lush pasture for you as a vocal coach.
Great reaction! Love me some Home Free. If you like Acapella, you really MUST check out VoicePlay. I recommend their cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. Or Hoist The Colours from Pirates of the Caribbean. They will blow your mind! But be sure to prepare yourself for Geoff Castelucci's earth-shaking bass notes. 😁
