Watch the official video too. He even shows off some martial arts skills on it. The part in the car was the prelude to a fight scene in that one. Plus - it's funny.
The official music video for this one is really worth watching too--it's a mini-story with Dimash starring as Dimash Bad Boy, a la James Bond. He has charisma in spades.
Finally someone who actually looked at each bit of this song..Quite a few fans and reactors sneered at this song as being beneath Dimash! Ive always disagreed because it seems to me it is full of artistry as usual, every bit is actually difficult but still manages to capture the Michael Jackson vibes, but also other legends like Quincy Jones, some even say Justin Bieber (I wouldnt know about that as Ive never heard anything by him! Justin who?) And actually it is full of vocal gymnastics as usual, just very subtle. Its worth watching the original MV which is highly entertaining action comedy movie style. I'm so fully agree with your opinion. It sound easy (which actually not) because its Dimash. But it's a very unique, creative and complicated piece. I don't think anyone else can sing it 😉

Dimash's move to pop may well succeed! Many naysayers have claimed that he couldn't cross over. What's impressive is even with the pop-iness, he managed to retain his unique voice and technical skills, and I LOVE his rapping style!

This was from the digital concert in January 2021… about two months later (maybe a bit more?), an official video was released which is loads of fun and is very cinematic (you may wish to watch just for fun!). Definitely influenced by MJ (and you’ll notice it more if you watch the official video!). We’re all fine with audio only (mostly memorized from watching repeatedly.). Enjoyed your reaction!
This song, I’m sure you can tell, was one of his homages to Michael Jackson’s music-who was and is a huge influence on Dimash. I’ve often wondered if he using made up words in the chorus just like MJ did, but I don’t know Kazakh at all to be able to tell? Do any other Dears here know? A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿
I’ve seen the translation for the rapping. It’s Kazak and a very positive message. I really don’t like any rap but the way Dimash does it, the rhythm is entertaining. I think because I know it’s a positive message, I have to like it. A lot of rap is garbage..not that I listen to it.😜

The English wasn't sudden, the whole song apart from the rap section is in English. Composed, arranged and produced by Dimash, there are quite a few videos of this song, one the official music video is like a mini movie the others are all live versions. This one was the big surprise at the end of the Dimash Digital Show from January 2021 his incredible online concert.
Nina, a lot of reactors either blur or reduce the size of the screen or put text in front saying things like Have to do this to not be blocked. I also wanted to let you know there are actually 2 different videos now of Stranger. There is one from New Wave and another that was filmed AFTER New Wave. The second has a bigger range of vocal changes in the middle of the song. BTW, I GIGGLED so hard when you said, OH he is singing in English now! 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

Not my cup 'o tea. But I recognise the Talent and the energy and effort that went into the production. I liked the dancing. The video was good, but didn't like the flashes. Was there a flash warning at the start of the video. Excellent musical instrumentation composition..which really carried this music vid to a good level. I'm very sorry, I haven't heard Dimash before. Vocals and languages - Credit to his versatility.! He's putting different styles in play and seems to be trying to do everything and appeal to a wider audience. I think doing it this way wasn't efffective. I'm so sorry. It's the only Dimash song I've heard. I'm not a fan of his vocals in this one. However, I get the feeling he's quite capable of doing great stuff. But, overall this was an enjoyable production. .....I still Love your Reaction Nina, and I'm going to revisit this reaction video and his song again. (Monday morning.! This only one of his style.. And the intention behind this song is as a gift to his fans.. Its his way of "joking" with his Dears (his fan name).. I suggest you go through some of his songs too.. Its all different.. And "great" is an understatement 😅 These are the songs that I suggest for u to check : Sos Sinful passion Love is like a dream Stranger Your love Olimpico Diva dance Adagio Couldn't leave. Screaming Sorry for a quite long list of songs suggestion. But he is too diverse in genre that pretty much hard to suggest only a few songs because certain style might not be someone taste. 😉 And his english pronounciation in early years not great since he just learn english around 4 yrs ago from Zero.. And now he is so much better. Hope u will enjoy them. And he is a very great, extremely kind and humble person. 😉
If this is your first listen to Dimash, you have so much more to watch. His sings just about all genres…opera, pop, rock, ballads, and some rap(not my favorite)but he’s an amazing singer. The best I’ve ever heard. I’m 76 so have been around for awhile. Try Ave Maria, Stranger, All By Myself, The Love Of Tired Swans, Love Is Like A Dream. I hope you give Dimash a chance. I don’t think you will regret it. He has a six octave range, is classically trained, has his Masters and working on his doctorate in music. Started training at the age of five.
