I feel that Chris' voice is well suited to this style of music. This and his duet with Lea (Get Happy/Happy Day's Are Here Again) are probably my favorite of his Glee performances.

Surprised you didn't comment on how Chris goes low and Darren goes high at the end -- that, and the bit you spoke of at the piano, are my favorite to listen to. To watch, when Chris does the backwards walk, the bit on the couch "mind if i move in closer?" and when Darren glances at Chris' mouth as he sings "your lips are delicious." Who am i kidding, i love the whole thing.

"Your lips are delicious" was a line cut out of the episode version, it's in the studio version but Blaine does glance at Kurt's mouth a few times

going to get political here. This was a groundbreaking number from an LBGTQ perspective. Its one of the earliest numbers on national television which showed two boys being romantic, a bit flirtatious, falling in love. Its not about sexuality. It's not about loneliness or angst or fear . This could have been sung by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, or Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. If we had been depicted as sweet romantic teens with worrying parents, and gossipy friends by Hollywood in the 50's', we would have been seen marriage material in the 70's.

I feel guilty because there aren't many Kurt songs that I'm a fan of. 😭 Sorry Kurt. I think there are maybe like 5 songs I would actually go out of my way to listen to that he sang. This might be one of them but that's because I like Blaine (most the time).
