They put on instagram that Cool People is just an ode to all the positive people in their lives. The ones that supported them, their friends, family, fans. It makes it it even more people. I wish you would’ve found a version with the bridge. It’s just as beautiful as the rest of the song.

I was blessed to be introduced to their music in person. I was standing next to their dad and they came out and performed and blew my mind. Amazing performers and the nicest girls ever! They were young and nervous, but so genuine. I got a drink spilled on me by another fan and Halle gave me tissue to clean myself up and they complimented my purse and nose ring. I told them that in the next three years they will become insanely famous. This was two years ago.
This is why Halle is the Ariel they casted. Her voice is exactly as you described, bright! Quintessential Ariel vibes. They truly love music and it shows. A lot of people can sing, some are MEANT to sing.

The song is about each other and their bond (according to an interview). It's a song of gratitude for being each other's sisters. Even when people suck they remind each other that there's still cool people in the world (like them for one another).

Very rarely does a singer bring tears to my eyes when I hear them sing. I can count on one hand. These girls made me tear up in 2 diff songs now. Their voices are absolutely moving! They need alllllll the Grammys!
