Amen, I totally agree & that's what I love about these fellas ALL if their music is like that! They have original music as well especially in their "Dive Bar Saints" album. Enjoy!
One of their best. They can sing anything and do it well. I think it has something to do with how much each member can lead or fill any role. Beat boxer is killing it
Rob took us to church at the end. Being able to translate emotion in the way great artists do is so special, it separates the greats from all the rest. Can you react to Matt Corby? I recommend "Miracle Love" or "Chains" by Tina Arena or "All Fired Up"? Or anything really you can't go wrong and most have amazing live versions. Most people react to "Brother" Live which is amazing.
Oh, they really did an amazing cover here! Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was one of the judges during their season of the Sing Off! He sang their praises every week!! I truly believe he would love this cover!! I always enjoy your reaction and opinion as a musician and vocal coach! What’s not to like with this one?! lol
2 songs that come to mind they do that hit you in the feels are: . I Can't Outrun You . Lonely Girl's World Both are sad but really relatable with matching videos. Loved the reaction! Thx!
If you want more personal younneed to hear their song where chance sings which is "cant out run you" and also "love me like that" probably the most personal songs ive heard
@CB isme Sorry I don't agree but that's my humble opinion I am not a preacher but i feel church is anywhere i want it to be my church is a song not a hymn take it as such
@CB isme I refuse to believe I can't ask the lord for redemption while i listen to music in my car my church is where I talk to the lord be it in a building in a car or in a river and I pity you if you can not accept that
We're going to make a "Home Fry" (someone who loves Home Free) out of you yet! This is one of my favorite covers of theirs. You might also try "Mayday" and even though it's not Christmas season yet, "Do You Hear What I Hear" (you definitely need the headphones/earbuds for this one)! Great reaction! Thank you!!
Hey Brother !!! Awesome reaction. I think another one that captures their heart & soul is their cover of John Denver's Country Roads, but also look at one their other religious covers, their collab with Peter Hollens for Amazing Grace. God bless & have a great Friday
Loved your reaction! There are more than 100 video's on their YT page, just pick one, doesn't matter, because they are all excellent. It just depends on what you prefer to listen too. But...you should try the songs from their Dive Bar Saints album, 10 out of 12 of them are originals.
Mike, you are 1 of 2 of my most favourite reactors. Great reaction, thank you. If you like Tim's base, try Mayday for a 'little' surprise. Richest blessings to you and yours.
Please look into their cover of Children, Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers! It is amazing and almost impossible to remember they are a cappella. Enjoy!
These white boys can sing Blues, Gospel, Rock, Soul ------ and it goes on and on --- just amazing! Keep reacting. You will ever be disappointed. Also, many of their videos are hilarious! They are all natural comics..
This gives me chills every time I hear this. I know Boys II Men did complete justice to this song, but Home Free are phenomenal. Just my opinion mind you.
Loved your reaction.. watched this long ago and just re watched it this am... When you get a chance, watch "On The Road Again" Home Frees newest release .. cover of the Willie Nelson hit with a new Covid melancholy wistful slant.. So beautiful. Any of their songs are wonderful.. (especially when you realize that they are completely acapella.. no instruments at all.. well. except for the sounds they make with their mouths lol.. and boy do you forget there is no drum set when you listen to them!) How Great Thou Art, Do You Hear What I Hear.. Meet in the Middle, and of course Mayday... Blue Aint Your Color.. geez.. any of them.. and the Butts remix for a laugh, too! Enjoy.. and thank you!
hey Mike..i too am from the greater stlouis area but i moved away 7 yrs ago...cool mutton chops there bud...(no sarcasm)..your smile is contagious ..your smile had me cheezin the whole way through the video.....
They began as soul/pop, now more country-ish/soul/pop, can sing any style..They take turns leading.. . ▶PLZ REACT-awesome songs⤵ *"InThe Blood"* -John Mayer *"Children, Go Where I Send Thee"* -w/Kenny Rogers *"Remember This"* -Original *"Can't Stop The Feeling"* Timberlk *"Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On'* *'Everything Will Be Okay"* -Orig. *"Blue Ain'tYour Color"* KeithUrban *"Lonely Girl's World"* -Original
Loved your reaction...you can't go wrong with Home Free....all their songs are amazing! I would suggest their cover of My Church or Cover Me Up! New sub here!
PLEASE DO "COLD" BY CHRIS STAPLETON PREFERABLY HIS LIVE PERFORMANCE AT THE 2021 CMA'S OR THE 2022 GRAMMIES. TAKE YOUR PICK. BOTH ARE OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike, I think you'd like the Home Free version of "What we ain't got" simple, beautifully done and also In the Blood and Helplessly Hoping please... I KNOW you'd enjoy them!
Okay, you may wish to listen to "Amazing Grace" by Peter Hollins featuring Home Free and "How Great Thou Art" by Home Free. You will also like their medley "Alabama Sampler". Enjoy!
Be sure to listen to Ring of Fire the old Johnny Cash cover that Home Free slays. AvI Kaplan originally of Pentatonix is joining them for this song and you will be so impressed. Your channel is fresh and so great to watch.
