Many good requests from home free I'm seeing . may I add one? Their cover of rest high on that mountain from their church sessions album is an amazing and soulfull song. Its done so well. Thanks. You're reactions I look forward to seeing
I've seen them live many times...I think they sound even better then the studio versions! Tim's low bass live vibrates the chairs and you feel it in your chest!
Hi Mike, great reactions! PTX and Home Free are some of my most favourite vocal groups! I'd highly recommend to you listening to one more song sang by Home Free: O Lord My God.
I came across this video on RU-vid the year it came out. Hadn’t heard of Home Free till then. I was mesmerized! Started my journey with them and they have brought much joy and many smiles since!
I could listen to Home Free sing this song every day of the year. I've seen them live twice and their voices aren't fixed in the studio. At one concert, you could have heard a pin drop through the crowd during their Go Rest High On That Mountain song. I had goosebumps because their harmony was so beautiful. Thank you for your reaction.
Another great Home Free reaction. They always blend so, so well. Please check out some of their recent projects, they’re putting out a new song every other Friday.
If you ever see them live you will realize how little is fixed in the studio they are just as tight live as what you just heard except you tend to feel the bass as much as you hear it they are just that good
@Ron Fuqua you are so right. Here's proof: live, off mic, performance (video credit to wbish3) - blend, enunciation, timing are all on point... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MLmK2ULux-o.html
Their timing, tones and enunciation are impeccable. You should experience some of their work with their beat boxer on full blast. And by the way, while you commented that they can adjust tones in the studio... they really don’t. They sound this good live. Every time. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. Jump right in.
Thanks so much! Watch a few of their live show songs. They're all over You Tube. Love them cause they are super talented and funny at the same time. But then you hear that they of course do sound "perfect" on the videos, and more layering of voices, etc, too, but live you can really tell how talented they are. They still blend and still are awesome! Thanks and take care.
I love your reaction. You mentioned some things I didn’t think about such as them ending words at the same time. It was a beautiful rendition. Thanks and hope you listen to more of them. I love Do You Hear What I Hear as it’s so well done. Helplessly Hoping and Auld Lang Syne show their harmonies so well.
I WOULD LOVE SOMEONE TO PLAY "WE THREE KINGS" , TIM FAUST SINGS WITH A HUSBAND AND WIFE DUO CALLED "THE FOX AND THE HOUND". IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
there are live videos from people that were attending the shows -- you should listen to some of them and you will find they do the same live they do on the videos
Nice reaction....I've been a subscriber, but haven't seen to many reactions from you over the past couple of years. This group is terrific, but you should check out Pentatonix' recent version of "O Holy Night" !! Another recent Pentatonix cover that will blow your mind is a live version of "Kiss From a Rose" (Seal) !! THANKS
If you've never heard of Geoff Castelluci, I also highly recommend you listen to any song sung by him or him and his group. You'll be shocked or at least surprised! Also, how about reacting to some of PTX's Christmas songs?...
Mike, one more incredible christian singer I highly recommend to you is an incredible RUSSIAN(!) artist/singer SIMON KHROLSKYI. He 'restores' old christian hymns as well as writes and sings his own. And he makes his performances incredibly cinematographic!
I love this so very much, but only time I've ever had a negative about Home Free, why didn't they sing the 2nd verse instead of just repeating the 1st one....I guess it's not too much of a criticism, but a small one, because as usual, they sound "Divine" just like O Holy Night. Great analysis sir once again. Please do more Home Free. Have you reacted to any of their secular songs ? I remember you reacting to How Great thou Art....but one to listen to that is a fun upbeat song is Can't stop the feeling...you get a nice taste of their lighter side & its a song you have to move to when listening to it. If you have the time PLEASE react to that one !
