She became a born-again-Christian a couple of years ago. She is incredible and when she sings songs of praise and love for our Heavenly Father, she makes my heart soar because I know she believes what she's singing!! She loves God and makes it no secret unlike many non-gospel singers...because many don't believe in God (one call tell by the foul lyrics they use. Her vocals are incomparable and she surpasses any other artist that several other reactors compare her to. She's Morissette!! An angel sent from the heavens to, if only for a few minutes, make this world a better place!!! No other artist, to date, has moved me the way Ms. Amon's voice moves me...no matter what she sings!! It’s been a little while. Welcome back Morissette has put out a lot of content lately. She came out with an EP last week with 5 songs. All the songs are amazing please check it out. The name of her EP is Signature. This song was originally written for a Christian musical called Last Name in The Philippines by Freddie Santos in the 80s. Gary Valenciano originally sang and arranged the song. The musical was revived recently in honor of Freddie’s passing. Gary rearranged this song so Morisette could sing it. It was the first time Gary has ever rearranged his own song so another artist could sing it. Pretty powerful and amazing. BTW she was crying in the video. her new EP is climbing the charts across the world and I believe it’s around #30 in the US but not sure which chart has it at that ranking.
FYI (and perhaps you have already known by now): Morissette had just put out an EP of five songs, all originals, that she and her fiance had co-written. When you get a chance, check them out because they are really good, all English songs btw. The EP is called Signature and her fans had already purchased the album on iTunes, Spotify and other platforms. You can find these songs too on her RU-vid channel simply called Morissette. She sings in this song as a lost soul who is in pain and suffering, looking for help. She heard about Jesus, she is praying to him asking many questions. Who are you? Are you all that they say you are? Can you help me? Can you be my Messiah? She is singing this on her knees. Morissette is a world-class powerhouse singer when needed. But this is not one of those songs, she can also sing like a vulnerable leaf floating in the wind. Some say she is a Diva, but for her, Diva is non-descriptive. She is in a class of her own above diva class. She has the talents of all the best singers -- Some Mariah, some Celine Dion, some Whitney, and some of many others. She does it all. How many can routinely rip out a 11-12+ second whistle note on demand without breaks or stopping? Most importantly, she sings with soul and emotion. It is like she has lived what she sings. To some extent, the answer is that she is from the Philippines, a highly religious Christian country, and a very POOR country with many of the best singers in the world that get limited recognition. Morisette ep is trending all over the world I heard she is at #30 i the U.S that’s a great start but she will hit top of the charts she doesn’t just have one or two great songs all five are top tier

It was partially to honor the song's lyricist, Freddie Santos, who passed away last December. This song resonates with many people, believers or otherwise, because it reflects universal questions and search for life's meaning. Mori pulls off amazing covers, but also writes/co-writes and performs original songs. 5 are featured on her new EP release.
