Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera) duets or group performances where they sang lead were always so good. This performance is from Season 3 (in my opinion season 3 features some of the best covers from the entire series). 2 more notable covers from Season 3 that featured Amber and Naya performing together were "Shake It Out" (which also featured Jenna Ushkowitz who played Tina) and "Survior/I Will Survive"

Brittany and Mike Chang sort of fell into the same category on Glee. At first they were mostly used for their dancing skills. As the seasons progressed, they were given more story arcs and dotted the seasons with solos, duets, etc.

Audrey, I love that you commented on Naya's ad libs...hers are always the best and put her signature on these covers. The ones that come to my mind are the ones she does in We Found Love, Forget You, Black or White, (I've Had) the Time of my Life, and Brave...just to name a few, but she always finds a way to put her stamp on a cover. Since you love her versatility you need to check out Songbird and her rapping in Doo Wop, Fly/I Believe I Can Fly, and Problem (full studio version)

I always felt like Hemo’s backing vocals like the “what doesn’t kill you” were never truly appreciated enough especially amongst powerhouses like NAYA and Amber and I agree this will always be one of my most favorite performances in the series.

Brittany (blonde girl you said doesn't sing enough) doesn't sing much because she's more of a dancer (Her actress as a backup dancer for Beyonce!). She does get a few songs over the years though. Some of her best are Slave 4 U (solo), Me Against the Music (duet with Naya), Dance With Somebody (duet with Naya), and Run the World (Girls) (mostly solo, bit of Naya at the end)!

The plot surrounding "I'm Glad You Came" and "Stronger"...so hard to watch without feeling things. Glee had some hard misses on hard content, but this part of season 3 was brilliant. I often say season 3 is my favorite, and this little section in the middle of it is one reason why. As it's related to this performance, plot-wise, do not review "Cough Syrup" without a trigger warning, and be prepared.
