I'd say his live performances are just as good as his studio ones

I completly love the way he explains what's going on with the tones, style and the texture of this song it sounded pretty honest and human to me, like we were talking to a good friend

Yeah the way he says "through" as "threw" is because of the Scottish accent. We basically say our T's as an F lol.

I just love his style and presentation of a song. I am worried about whether or not he is singing safely. Sometimes you can see the veins on his neck. Lewis' voice is a treasure, and I want it to last and last. He is young, and I hope he works with someone professionally just so he does it right to keep it going!

I dont think that he's tapping into a low larynx or anything of the sort. His voice is naturally deep and he's scottish.

I think it's good to mention that alot of that grit and style/ tone comes from his accent. Very scottish, very nice.

The amount of negative comments is kind of insane, especially for such a positive and non-controversial video *shrugs* Keep it up man, when you have people saying your shit, that means you gotta keep at it!

I like how he has no idea what the lyrics are.

People will hate me with this, BUT the way he sounds even in the studio recording, he really strained and over "pulled" his voice up to B flat 4 in the chorus. It's basically equalized "scream". I get it, people love the fact that it's pretty much emotive and the "strain" helps with the "hurt" color. But i really worry about his vocal health especially that he retains the strained heavy quality of his upper "belts" in the live version even though the key is lowered full step.
