I’m wondering if this recording was rush or something. Mariah is the producer and I’m surprised she didn’t refine her masterpiece at this time. Ariana’s vocals are just like how she will sing it live. Her enunciation is just horrible. Mariah’s known for her perfectionism at her final works. I wonder what happen this time or if this was an on spot recording. Nevertheless, Ariana’s background vocals are on point. And JHud’s voice is too thin for Mariah, though.
@@LuciaSinatra Ariana was raised in the US and what I meant was that I cannot understand the words she’s saying every time she’s on the 5th octave. Listen to Mariah Carey’s If It’s Over live performance at the Grammys for reference. The way she hit F#5s with clarity. No offense to your pronunciation, though. But Mariah is known to perfect everything on her studio albums.

But Mariah’s solo F6 whistle note left me speechless😱. She’s a vocal technician, she can still hit whistle notes effortlessly. MC is on a whole different level musically speaking. And that double whistle harmony, was amazing. I’ll always be greatful for Mariah Carey. And Ariana and Jennifer killed It . But when it comes to the whistle register. Mariah and Minnie Riperton for me in particular, were the legendary vocalists who made the whistle register capability seem above expectations. Even though Ariana can hit whistle notes. She’s only recently started doing them more often. Whereas Queen MC has been using her whistle register throughout her entire career. She’s a legend, who’s inspired a whole generation of singers. MC keep inspiring people and singles from 30 years, I am a devoted fan. To use whistle register takes practice, I use to have it too, but when you overworking using your voice it's hard to use it daily. I don't have it every time if I don't warm up properly, yes she is naturally gifted as a Goddess and about producing, creating and vocal arrangements she can teach to everybody. Ariana is doing great, the last album gives me 90's R&B vibes and I truly love it a lot ad her voice too. J Huds? Another great soul voice!!! Don't compare Mariah and Ariana because they are good together. Both of them are so good, Ariana has own thing and SHE IS NOT COPYING MARIAH! Every singer can do a whistle, not only Ariana. Because every singer in the world, they idolize Mariah and can do whistle too. But Ariana is one of the singer that really look up to Mariah since she was a kid/teenager. Idolizing her 👌❤
