I believe Sara wrote in her book learning how to sing and play the piano for brave was a challenge for her so it was really cool of you to bring that up and acknowledge the skill!
Honestly, this wasn't one of her better performances. If you really want to see a night she was mega-on and hit everything perfectly, react to this recent live version of St. Honesty: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DK4UDFzIZ3Q.html - - it's night and day to this one. She's utterly perfect, whereas here in this one? Not so much.
I love Sara and her cover of good bye yellow brick road. Also there is live version of She Used To Be My me on the Today show that I love. I’m also a huge Pentatonix fan so really anything from them would be great! For a live performance, their official video of Silent Night is truly live, no mics etc short in a church. Never too early for Christmas right? I love your detailed analysis and breakdown. Subbed!
Awesome Laurie! I'm doing "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" soon and I just did Jeremy Jordan's "She Used to Be Mine". Should be out in a week or two. I'll add the Pentatonix "Silent Night". Thanks for your feedback!
We all know Carrie Underwood is amazing but the vocals in the song 'Something in the water' took my breath away! I'd love to hear a vocal coach comment. Especially the video version.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vw7L_X2y-VU.html in this video she talks about how she didn't really know where to place this song and acknowledges that she was a lil screechy in this performance but went to a vocal coach after to work on it which i found really interesting
Hey! I like your analysis very much. Thanks for doing these, just one thing that always confuses me: did you ever notice your movies are mirrored? That looks pretty weird, whe n you play piano ;)
