I'm supposed to do the laundry but sat down and started watching Yazik's reactions to Pinoy artists. The result? I fell into a rabbithole and lost track of time. I can't help watching his videos from start to end. I hit subscribe as he has genuine reactions and his laughter is simply infectious. Thank you, Yazik for appreciating Filipino artists! Sending you lots of love from the Philippines... ♥️♥️♥️
Daryl Ong is such a great RNB Singer. The title of the song he sang is “DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO” originally sang by our late filipino singer Ric Segreto. He his also product of The Voice Philippines. You may check his RU-vid Channel for more songs he covers. The song “Beautiful Life” he beautifully translated that song in English it was originally sang by Korean Singer OST of GOBLIN a soap opera in Korean TV. Thanks again for your reaction and appreciating Filipino Singers. ❤️🇵🇭
Thank You So Much handsome reactor Yazik 😍🎶 for Your Loving Support to Our Filipino Singers... Daryl is One.of Filipino Pride....Have a Marvelous Day 💃🎶💗🌞🌻💕
Daryl is also a product of The Voice Philippines. You might wanna check his audition and battle round performances on the Voice Philippines. You can also react to Jay R the king of RNB of the Philippines. Consider also listening to Kris Lawrence versace on the floor via wish bus. And Jason Dy as well. These guys are all good and a talent competition winners in the Philippines except for Jay R.
Ahhhh. I love your comments on Daryl's performance. I watch most of your reaction videos. Yes, he does sound kind of like Brian McKnight. Since you have mentioned the latter, I would love for you to react to Daryl's BRIAN MCKNIGHT MEDLEY.. You will be amazed. Promise.. Take care and God bless
First view and first reaction Yazik. As usual your in depth reaction are superb. On point, clear and concise. That's why enjoy watching your reactions since I'm learning a lot. Would you mind reacting to TNT Boys A Million Dreams? Thanks
I was about to sleep last time but yazik reaction to rainbow caught my eyes and then thats it from that very moment with his knowledge about music and genuine laugh 😁, i subscribed and history haha aww 😅
*One of my favorite Ric Segretto songs. This is actually a very good cover of the original wherein Daryl added his own flair and flavor to the OPM Classic.*
Loved it Yazik! Thank you for listening to your subscribers, it means a lot. 😊 I’ll look forward for more of your videos! 😊 I’m also glad that you’ve mentioned that you’ll still check some of his studio covers he also has Rude (RnB Version)” Thinking Out Loud Dive Beautiful (Translated from Korean) Jealous The song he sang is not his original thou, but was composed of an older Filipino Singer. Thank you again! Staying tuned to your channel 😊
Love your reaction Yazik!! Thank you for your very nice commentaries to Daryl. I'm one of his huge fan. I super love his creativity and tasteful riffs and runs. He makes his cover his own, he puts wonderful twist and flavor but the good thing is he maintains the originality of the song. Kinda confusing, i don't know how to put my exact thoughts into words haha. Please watch his studio covers and you'll understand what i exactly mean. Try his Thinking Outloud, Rude, Dive, Boyz 2 Men medley, One Sweet Day, You are the Reason and alot more. If you're not familiar with the song, better to hear the original first so you'll appreciate more his creativity. Btw, my first time to your channel and i just subscribed and hit the bell. Thank you, i'll be waiting for your next Daryl Ong reactions!
Pls react to Daryl singing ONE SWEET DAY w/ Katrina Velarde, Bugoy & Khel. Also Jaj Vinson in The Voice singing Passion Fruit (Team Kelly Clarkson). Check out other Filipino male singers: Jason Dy, Bugoy Drilon, Jay R, Michael Pangilinan (Khel).
If you want to know how he plays with notes, I think you should check his covers in his own channel. He gets really creative with his runs and arrangements.
Yes Master Yazic thats a cover an Original Pilipino Music (OPM) Classic love song Dont know what to do (what to say) by' RIC SEGRETO its a timeless love song during 80's and still famous up to dis day
While Watching and listening to your analysis and reactions to the videos, this thought came in to my mind " if you would be my vocal teacher/coach,maybe my mind goes to north, south, east and west"and don't know where to find it up hahaha, youre so smart and and I would say "perfectionist" Thank you anyway sir for reacting and appreciating Filipino talents.,God bless you!
You're also like a G#5 artist the way how you react Filipino great singers... I've learned so much fr you in just a few minds.. You're an awesome Artist/vocal coach Reactor... You are also perfection...
This Song “Dont Know What to Do” is a cover of an original filipino song from the late Ric Segretto. Its an 80s song which was given a modern R&B rendition. Original Filipino Love songs are amazing lyrically and melody wise. I love your channel! More power!!!
You right Yazik the person say that they are crazy, maybe don’t understand music, I like the way react to all the singers. Just ignore dose those people.👍❤️😍😍
Thank you for reacting and always trying to teach us, coach. Im always looking forward to ur videos. 😊. I hope you could also react to Kyla Yesterday. She just posted it this week. I also really love her. I hope u could react to her and teach us about her style. Thank you coach!. 😊
First-timer on your channel! Thanks for this reaction. There are covers of Daryl where he sounds like some of those artists you mentioned: Brian McKnight, Stevie Wonder (for a few seconds), etc. Pls try the ff: (from Daryl Ong Official) - 'DIVE' by Ed Sheeran (he starts this song on a lower note, turns Ed's pop style into R&B) - 'RUDE' by Magik! (this is pre-recorded but he slows down the song and makes it R&B) Annnd subscribed to you now. Btw, the original of this 'Don't Know...' is a mellow catchy song from the 80s. No riffs and runs there. Daryl gave it his R&B flavor. And also, Daryl sang an original composition of his on the same night he did this cover you reacted to. I'm not sure if the Bus will release a video though. I did see a lyric video of it once just recently, I think. The title is 'Dapat pa ba'. It's kinda sappy (not really my taste :P ) but Filipinos are generally suckers for sappy songs.
Thanks for this reaction. Daryl is a soulful RnB singer, famous for his signature runs. Sorry if you’re not a fan of pre-recorded videos. But try watching and listening to Filipino singers like Daryl. They don’t use auto tune.
Mabuhay ka Yazik 😍. You've been reacting to ost filipino singers that are so so amazing. Its an honor and we so appreciate it 😊😇. Keep it up IDOL 😉. Im still waiting for your reaction video to her. You know what I mean 😊
All the legit vocal coaches like you react giddily to the same parts of this performance. Don't miss the chance to discover his techniques by disregarding his non-live videos. Based on your likes, there's so much to learn from his covers (Rude, Thinking out Loud, Dive***, Jealous) but check out the original first so you know how he flipped the songs. Thanks!
New subscriber here!! 😊😊 thank you for the react.😊😊 I really appreciate what you did. Thank you for doing this video god bless you and take care always @yazik reacts.😊😊😇
Hi coach! Really love your reactions on filipino talents.. On that note, can i request a reaction on kris Lawrence's versace on the floor on wish bus as well. Thanks a lot! 😊
Please don't worry too much about those "negative" comments Yazik. I am sure your reactions are just sincere and simply because of your love of music. It's just very hard to please everybody because there are just too many genres out there. Take care Yazik! It's a cover of a Ric Segreto song who unfortunately died in a freak motorcycle accident.
Really love your reactions and your constructive comments... so honest... Thanks a lot for loving Filipino Singers.. If you want live performances, check KZ Tandingan and Jaya’s cover of Feeling Good..
I like both the original and Daryl's cover equally as they both reflect the evolution of Filipino music. Others may diss Daryl's version but this is what makes all that dissing fluff: the song's composer - Odette Quesada - liked this cover enough to post the link on her FB page, complimenting Daryl on his pipes. Apparently, she does not do this every time someone calls her attention to every singer who does a cover of her songs - someone there mentioned that so-and-so also did a cover for this same song and what she replied was 'yes, I heard it'.
He is amazing all the time..one of the filipino talent...please do react to Michael Pangalinan Lay me down or Perfect cover the same station 107.5 wish bus
thank u for listening and reacting to daryl.. pls. react ro bugoy drilon too. they are friends too.. actually. rhey are 3 .. in a group . thank u.and god bless
hi yazik, im your new subcriber..i loved how you react to every singer you watched, you give right justice to thier talent😊 i also loved darly Ong..Pls react also to his song entitled "even if it huts" its a very nice song😊
Why not try a friend of daryl ong,hes bugoy drillon singing one day on the wish bus. Hes also very good. And another singer to singing feeling good cover by jaya and kz tandingan you will also love it coach....
Stevie Wonder is a legend and one of my faves too! But yea, it was good of you to point it out cause I was trying hard to think who he closely resemble with in terms of singing and all I keep remembering are the ones in late 90s and early 2000s. He has different tone, of course, but he has some of Stevie's style. I'm not so good with typing genres but for all I know it's RnB/Soul. Hardly heard him doing high falsettos like most RnB male singers wont to do nowadays, the closest to falsetto was probably an uncompressed head voice but his technique is more of compressed mixed voice and sometimes even belting. But the ruuuuuuns though! It's his specialty 😍 Always on point ;) I wish you could react to their version of One Sweet Day and You are the reason but I have a feeling you might skip those cause they're studio version (though I've seen his comment on one of the reactors about One Sweet Day, how they had to practice several times to get it perfectly for one take). Still if you won't, then let me suggest his performances in The Voice Philippines cause those are live 😉 His Battle rounds singing I finally found someone and The greatest love of all. His audition piece is good but it's in Filipino titled "Paano". Anywayyyy, this comment is quite long already. Thanks for reacting to Daryl! I don't mind one bit that you have to pause in between cause then you might miss some nuances. And that you have to compare them to other artists cause for sure they have musical influences too. Just keep doing what you're doing Yazik. I'm here for the details and close observation. I'm learning a lot from your reactions 🙂
Have you watched Daryl's cover of 'JEALOUS' ? There's a portion there that he sounded so much like Stevie, I was even trying to remember the specific Stevie song where I heard that exact sound. And I thought I was the only one who noticed that. :)
Daryl has a Wish live cover performance of Stevie Wonder 'Knocks Me Off My Feet', it's really so good!! Unfortunately, it's not yet available in YT. So sad. 😭
Yes please react to the avengers of the philippines BUDAKHEL(BU - Bugoy Drilon, DA - Daryl Ong and KHEL - Michael Pangilinan) featuring Katrina Velarde “One Sweet Day”. These folks are really good in both pre-recorded and live performances.
You need to check all of Daryl Ong's covers because he is really, really awesome. That song his singing is an OPM (Original Pilipino Music) by Ric Segreto titled "Don't know what to do. " Thanks. Salamat po. God bless you
