This song is written by Park hyo shin and Jung jae il. Jung jae il, who is playing the piano in the vedio is PHS's very close friend. Jung jae il is also music director of movie PARASITE, which is won an award at the Cannes Film Festival recently. They wrote together many goodsongs, and my favorite is wildflower, goodbye, sound of winter, breath.

Koreans indeed a genius construing lyrics and songs in terms of this kind of genre. Language barrier may interfere but if you feel the song, it's just like "bro, am I crying?" I've already experienced it so many times. I don't know what kind of "magic" they put to make a song so painful that every single detailed of the song was so fantastic.

His voice is amazing No words

He went through a lot for this song... He had/has spasmodic dysphonia (no Idea if that's the correct term) he was in constant debt and lawsuits and lost a very good friend.. This song is how he dealt with all of it. He truly has an amazing voice and the emotions can be felt through screen and sound.

Park Hyoshin is the greatest singer and artist in Korea .people call he 박효神

I will borrow words from one of his fans: The song is about all his struggles in life. His close friend, who he even called brother, committed suicide. His label didn't pay him anything for a long time, so he didn't have a chance to rent a studio to even practice. His agency forced him to perform very often with little to no rest, he collapsed many times and finally fell really sick and even got spasmodic dysphonia(issues with vocal cords that make them spasm and unable to produce proper sound). Because he didn't perform after that, his agency sued him for breach of contract, he had to pay 3 billion won, which is roughly 3 million USD and had to file for bankruptcy. I'm not completely sure, but I heard he was even forced to sell his house with all the belongings to pay up, it was a court order.This was all while he was serving in the military, which is mandatory for all Korean males, it lasts for 2 years.

hi yazik. actually i found your studio videos because of sohyang reaction, and also watched this video clip. Definitely sohyang and hyosin Park are one of my favorite vocalists in southkorea. Anyway i appreciate your sincere reaction. As you mentioned hoysin park himself made this lyric about his hard-time in life..kind of self story.

I read Park Hyo shin been in the business I think around 19 years. He had a falling out with his management company they abused him until he collapsed on stage and then they sued him into bankruptcy. So this was his Comeback song that he composed with his partner on the piano. I heard that the song is about his relationship with his music career and coming back to it. It's so hard when you have something that you love so dearly and it's taken away from you unfairly.

I was introduced to Park last week. I thought only Dimash and Hua were truly really deep emotional singers, but I am so happy to have found Park for he is truly a gloriously rich and heart felt singer. Love him! hi i'm italian and i like him ,same to you i like this song singing and i try this song alone . you must listen from him goodbye .he wrote wilde flower because he had a hard time , thats why he crying , the company in his young age ( he is now 38/40) don't pay him and failed undertaking. he was not homless ,but alone .

Found your reaction to one of my fave korean solo singers.. His voice is art!! He's one of the well known singers in korea that has low, deep voice. You should check out his other songs, breath, snow flower. Please also check Kyuhyun's , the main vocalist of an idol group, Super Junior, performances on King of Masked singer (you can search with keywords kyuhyun jini king of masked singer). He's the 1st male idol to win 5 consecutive times on the show. He once did a cover for wild flower in King of Masked Singer several years ago. Sadly, he lost.. Thank you for reacting to this..

As a Korean (just my opinion) Park Hyo-shin is a singer who is divided between likes and dislikes in Korea. Because his singing style and vibrations are too old. But most Koreans think highly of his singing skills.

My Korean friends said there are 4 top male singer but not known as k-pop idol... 1. Park Hyo Shin 2. Naul 3. Kim B. Soo 4. Lee (i don't really know his full name). Leave it to a white guy to bring up color -like what did that have to do with his voice dude? That is what turns the rest of the world off to white people. No, he is not trying to be white and the rest of us POC quiet frankly don't want to be white either. By the way, he is awesome because singing technique has got absolutely nothing to do with color or ethnicity or culture or none of it - it is a skill and he is probably one of the most gifted vocalist on the planet.
