She donated proceeds from the sales of the book to help children in need. - The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. After she won NGT, they did not want her to be thrust into stardom before she had a chance to grow up as a normal child, and get her education. Hey Asia and BJ, another great reaction video! I just discovered Angelina about a week ago and this was the first video I watched. I was not only blown away by her raw talent, but also by her incredible vocal control and technique for her age (I think she was 10 y/o in this video) and the nuances and personality she puts into her singing. I next watched the video of her performing Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT when she was about 13 and that was even more impressive. Not bad for a girl from the little country of Norway!

She is not a show of artist as a singer, but a communicator to lucky us! Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her fully. Notice how nine year old Angelina was in complete command of that studio. Her behavior and conduct is that of a much older seasoned and veteran professional. The band was taking their cues from her and not the other way around. In the beginning of the video Angelina can be seen writing. She was giving the music director her ideas of how she though the music should be played. There is no other performer like her. As you saw, Angelina is mature far beyond her chronological age. You probably seen the best of the best and from all the rest, now we are looking at the most very best of the best and the rest is going to be HERSTORY history. Oh you two need to watch one or two of her new releases since she signed with Republic Records last fall. "7th Heaven" the Studio Performance and her cover of the Bruno Mars/Adele written "All I Ask". (sung by both of them separately) She now owns this song. With her performance, she made it her own. Then go back and make your way through the other 135 or so videos she has on RU-vid, and continue your amazement. This beautiful young lady with a voice of an angel brings me to tears! She’s incredible! She has covered over 150 songs. She writes and arrange her music. She has written a book, plays the piano and speaks 4 languages. Her jazz influences in music came from growing up listening to her grandmother’s music. Her grandmother does a lot of the videoing of her singing. Angelina sings barefoot to bring awareness to under privileged children. You can’t go wrong with any song that she has covered. Angelina thrives with a live band. her live covers and performances are tremendous. She is affectionately referred to as "the boss" when she is rehearsing with a band or orchestra. She selects and arranges all of her music and is very specific as to how she wants the music arranged when she rehearses.

Another great reaction to Angelina. You have heard a couple of truly amazing covers, but still you have far to go, to get sight of a reasonable piece of the talent this girl is in possession of. To Angelina I think it`s sometimes easier to sing with a live band than the recorded track. She has always had her own ways and her own views on how she wants a song to be. So she needs to be in controll and in charge. As you can see in this video she give her "wishes" (rather suggestions) for the arrangement to the band-leader, giving a surten smile to his face. Still she do make a lot of covers using back-track music. I findt that she is not always all that comfortable as she does so. It can make it difficult for her to vary in tempo and dynamics the way she wants to. As she rehears with live music, I think it is mostly about getting the musicians to back up and follow HER track, instead of the other way around. There are some video clips on YT showing us the unhappy Angelina at very young age, as mucisians don`t deliver as she wants. So what should you do next. Go to her earliest studio training sessions, at 6 years old. Singing "I Who Have Nothing" (Tom Jones a.o.) or should you do her latest original "7th Heaven", released just weeks ago. Or you could take a look at her masterpice arrangement for "Bohemian Rhapsody" at the AGT-champions in 2020, as she was 13 YO. You should of course do them all, and then even her First real stage performances at the "Norwegian Talents" show in 2014. She was 7 and 8 at that time. All classic jazz. She always performs barefoot because of a promise she made at age 6 when in the Middle East she came across a barefoot girl on the street who earned a few coins weighing people, she spent a while talking with her about their respective dreams and Angelina left her her shoes, then the girl told her that she would pray all the days so that Angelina's dreams come true. Angelina wrote a book about this story at age 9 (the younger published author in Norway) illustrated by her grandma Mery Zamani who is a renowned Iranian poet and painter who was also a child prodigy.

She knew how to sing this song because she taught herself. It's her own interpretation of Screamin' Jay Hawkins song from 1956. In the beginning of the video you saw a picture of him as he appeared in his performances. I believe the reasons for the magic of this performance lays on many levels. First of all Angelinas singing, of course. But also listen to how perfect the musicians completes the music. And everything is acoustic. The sound production is also superb. And last, but not least, the filming and editing is also a masterpiece in the way it tells a story from the beginning to end.
