I was nervous when I approached this video for the first time. I don't know why, it's not like she was a stranger to tackling iconic songs. I should have known, she really and truly understands what a song should sound like. She's always respectful to the originals. She takes their art and makes more, sometimes even better, art.

This sounds like the Bobby Hatfield live version from the Andy Williams show back in 1965. He hits those high notes at the end, which were not in the studio recording version in 1965. Love Angelina. She can sing just about anything. If you haven't reacted to the Bobby Hatfield performance, it is well worth it. Might very well be one of the greatest live performances ever.

The Gold Standard for this song is Bobby Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers. His best performance was on The Andy Williams Show back in the 60's. Angelina bases her rendition off the style of his and is definitely the 2nd best version that has ever been performed of this song. Want to hear her do it when she becomes an adult, for Bobby will definitely have to share his throne with her concerning this song.

She not only made it her own, but there is a certain Authenticity with her Renditions that takes you back in Time, like she was around singing the song when the song was originally Written , back in the day.. now Authenticity is a Skillset that is most slept on as a skill.. Lots ppl can sing the song but Angelina Soul captured the essence/ singing style stylistically with her phrasing Timing and everything.. Please remember that English is not even her first or second language but Her Old Soulful Soul and her Tonality, it’s a Universal language.

Angelina Jordan is Norwegian and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of seven! Is a child prodigy and was 11 years old in this video. Her specialty is jazz and classics although she sings any genre. She appeared on America's Got Talent the champions at the age of 13 and her version of Bohemian Rhapsody went viral . you may want to check that out. At the age of 9 she performed a jazz classic that put her on the map and also went viral. It is the finest performance ever seen by 9-year-old and will blow your mind. It is called I Put A Spell on You and is the black and white video. Angelina has over 140 songs on RU-vid on Rusty shackleford's homepage.

I appreciate Angelic-a Jordan soooo much, I'm boomer baby, so her style her music takes me back to sassy jazzy music, that I was brought up with, I've been through Elvis, Beatles, MJ, Whitney, Anita Baker and so on....the stuff being put out now seems to be just big production, eye catching acts, nothing out of today's ORDINARY, but Angelina...WOW, WOW, WOW, thank you sooo music gods for the reminder of good solid ear loving music with lyrics that don't have the "F" or "N" words in it, so pure, feel good music that makes your head sway, lyrics that uplift you for the day or week, and wanting for more, she's so convicted and her natural ear, my goodness, what a gift to the world, keep her safe & happy world, you guys need super kudos for supporting her by reviewing her music, keeping her alive for the world to enjoy, love your breakdowns of her vision...BJ pls try not to interrupt the video too much when it gets to your "Best part of the song" LOL....take care, be watching out for you guys

One of the things is she starts out on point every time always. There is a person / reactor Alan Papier that interviewed both of her guitarists one in Norway one in LA and they both say she never knows what there going to record and very seldom do a second take. Always on key and she goes into her Angelina world and nails it. Great reaction keep them coming. Be safe!

One of the many things I find shocking about Angelina is that of the +/- 100 songs she covered when she was about 12, most were done in one take, sometimes 2. And basically perfectly Freaking unbelievable.

I like this because of Mrs on the left, looks like you can sing this song and have done several times in the past yeah?, your micro eye movements tell me she's singing it a slightly bit different from you, but you know it's spot on in her notes in her voice, you sometimes look agreeable and sometimes impressed by her changes from the original and it all adds up to a great reaction video, one that I watch a few times a month, so thank you for that! :)

Angelina did sing the crap out of this song, but I can't reconcile the fact that many people say that she was born doing this, but I saw the video of her singing at 18 months and trusty me, she wasn't born doing this. She started vocal lessons at age 4, and starting at AGE 5 attended a performing arts academy. so that means that she learned music theory and all of that stuff. It also means that she learned how to do runs. I can't do a run to save my life. I guess all I am trying to convey is that there is no mysticism to Angelina's talent, it was achieved through hard work, dedication, and preservence. Now Angelina is signed with Republic Records.

It's easy to find songs from Angelina you are looking for. Search for Angelina Jordan on RU-vid and select "Number of plays" in the filter. Notice! Recommend and look down the list and do not always go by the number of viewswe/plays. There you will find many treasures!

I agree with y'all on this review. I have been looking for her to perfect this one and I believe she has. But what will she do with it after a little maturity with the right acoustics, etc. With this, she already has no equal of anyone alive today. Thanks for picking this one to react to.
