Great build! Might do the same but eliminate the interior plywood to reduce weight, and 45° angle the edges of the foam so when I lock them together ( horizontally) it'll be completely sealed foam to foam.😊

Ventilation suggestion I helped a friend build a similar setup and he needed ventilation as well, so what we came up with was kind of cheap and do-able with leftovers that we had lying around, lol. So, we used some leftover 1 ft diameter PVC piping that we had used to do a different project, and bought elbow pieces we didn't have. Using the soundproofing foam, we shoved that inside of the piping so that the innermost area was a small but feasible diameter to allow cool air to pass through. We cut a hole at the base of the sound booth room and had the pipe bend at a 90-degree angle and run along the base of the room. We wrapped the outside as best as we could for soundproofing as well, and that was our intake for the ventilation. We later added a circular vent cover over the end because my friends ferret kept getting into the sound booth from the intake, lol. We then did something similar over the top of the sound booth and allowed the piping to just sit on top of the sound booth. We then rigged it so that we could attach a 3-fan laptop cooler so that it pulled the cool air in through the intake, and the hot air out through the fanned area. That worked relatively well until it wasn't enough cooling for my friend, he raps and has a podcast, and he was getting hot and bothered while rapping. So, we then rigged it so that the outtake ended up being a square piece of wood where we mounted 6 PC case fans on the inside of the case. It ended up working a lot better than the laptop cooler, and he can stay pretty cool in there with it running. We got a sound tester, there's a .5 decibel difference between having the ventilation running and not having it running with the holes covered. Hope that gives you some ideas.

Awesome. Wish I had these woodworking skills. I've built panels but thats it. If you haven't solved now, for air you could use computer fans with usb power from amazon and dryer ducts, and create a box attachment to the booth to fit. I did this for my whisperroom instead of buying their expensive system. I didnt build a box for it, but parts cost me $20.

Love your video series on this build. Planing to build a similar booth in the near future. Here is a thought with the fume problem inside your door window. If you drill a couple of holes between the tracks for the glass then put the sealer and glass in the tracks. Would the holes allow the fumes to escape? This could be done before putting the insulation in and letting the window breathe for maybe 24 hours. This is a question for your thoughts.👊😎👍

So I thought this was all pretty great, personally I need maybe about a foot more room in every direction (up and to the sides) also I’d want to put insulation in there for myself as I see in many other videos, some things that did help with doing this, was the blue squeegee thing going from the in to out, also I would like to put a ventilation system as well as make a shelf thing on the outside of The booth as you did to somehow contain my computer in, I’d prolly make it metal rather then plastic so I feel more comfortable to keep it secure, but I do believe this was a great help

Did you ever resolve the fog in the window issue? Also, would you mind describing the electrical layout of the booth? I've watched Part 1 several times, but I'm not quite understanding. I ask because I'm in the process of building a Dawbox, and I really like how you've made it so you can power your booth through a wall outlet. I'd like to do the same with mine. Thanks! Love your channel, brother! 👍🏽

Very nice. So how has it worked for you? Have you had to make any changes, or modifications? Anything you'd do diferently? When I do voice over for my videos, its very basic. I use a lavalier mic and usually do it in my car. I've learned a lot watching voice over videos. I'm way far away from making my own booth. But, from what I've learned, it looks like I'll modify a closet some for better Audio voice over. Thanks for sharing. Oh! did you figure out anything for air circulation?

Very bass heavy vocals. Probably due to lack of low frequency absorption. Some EQ will help

Actually that is rather intentional, I add adjustments to give it that radio sound

don't worry about these idiots that just want to here them selfs talk. The space is small enough you won't need corner sound dampeners or panels....... MAYBE but a voxgaurd for the back of you mic too trap sound from wondering behind the mic. Other than that the amazing box you build will be more then sufficient enough for beautiful vocals just make sure your using an inter face and a build in limiter with what ever daw you use to record !
