I love when you say you're here for the Exarch how Emet's voice actor delivers "Well you can't have him." Then his reaction when Alphinaud compares them to his people, that look "you think you equal to those *I* lost?" And when Urianger challenges him, "Do not presume to speak of *my* future." I love when the mask slips with Emet and he just gets so frustrated with you. Annnd I always gotta point these out because many miss them trying to take in so much in this ending: 1: "Fool. Who are you? No one. Nothing." Go back and watch the Shadowbringers trailer again. =3 2: Remember back in Rak Tika? Emet: I know because this is our history. Our story. Here at the end: Ardbert: This is our future. Our story. It's like poetry. It rhymes. 3. "But come! Let us cast aside titles and pretense, and reveal our true faces to one another!" All other boss fights have a title like "Lord of Crags" | Titan, but Hades has no title, just "Hades" - the game literally cast aside titles and pretense. 4. When Emet tells you to remember them.... he's no longer hunched over and slouching. You've proven yourself and he can entrust the future to you. The weight is lifted from his shoulders. 6. At 6:28:57 in your video, look to the left just underneath you by the rock. Urianger did wash up. 🤣 5. When Ardbert is walking to his companions.... the axe is no longer stained with blood. His guilt is washed away. The patches will break you again. They have some extremely emotional moments. And then Endwalker lies ahead to break you even worse. "PLEASE LOOK FORWARD TO IT!" 😁

I still get chills when I hear Ardbert say "we fight as one." what an ending

6:19:07 This is the first time we see Emet stand up fully straight. Before he always walked with a bit of a slouch, or some times more hunched over. Once you beat him and pass his judgement, he no longer feels that he has to carry the weight of his people's memory. So we see him stand tall. The game is fantastic. :')

Never get tired of watching sprouts experience Shadowbringers. No matter how many times I see it the ending of 5.0 always gets me. Can’t wait for u to experience the patches. One thing I wanna suggest which is finishing the Eden raids before the 5.3 msq. I can’t say much for fear of spoilers just that some parts wouldn’t make sense narratively if done after.

When those piano notes hit seeing Amaurot the first time, god As a huge sucker for the trope of "this is what once was, don't you want it back? Because we want it back" this entire arc hit me so bad Thank you, Emet Thank you, Hades

The old Azem must've been an absolute madlass and badass, with how highly Hythlo, Emet and [SPOILER] talk about her.

4:30:30 Me at this point: "Y'know, I'd like to say we're here to stop you, but I'm not sure I can do that. There is one thing that I'm not leaving here without..." [slams second option] "You've got my catboy." Emet-Selch: "Well you can't have him."

I love how you notice so many small details and take the time to actually experience the content. So many of my friends just rushed through without taking a moment to talk to NPCs or admire the vistas. Sad, honestly.

the fun thing is when when you all realize just who and what Ardbert was and what he really meant when he says "We fight as one"

It's funny you got spooked by Emet start to talk in 4:45:00 Also you may not like Emet, but you can be sympathetic to his reasons. Which was hits you in the heart. A villain as a he was, he only yearned for a world that he lost, for the lost one who sacrificed themselves to come back.

Shadowbringers is not just a fantastic expansion, but one of the best stories told in any medium...from 5.0 start to Last Patc finish.

Love watching you go through some of my most memorabele moments in the game and have the exact same emotional reaction even now after all these years.

I am married and a proud father of two princesses. I rarely feel sad or tear up, no matter how tough life has been over the years. But this game hit me so hard that my wife was worried I was having a mid-life crisis. In reality, it was the SHB expansion story that was so good and tear-jerking that I couldn't help myself. It's amazing, and I'm not ashamed to admit it had me reaching for the tissues!😅

Something interesting about the ancients you see here, they were constructions by Emet-Selch, and therefore a lot of his own perceptions and feelings are integrated in the minds of these shades. They're nice, and they see your group as children. It's strongly suggested that this is how Emet actually feels about the lives created by Hydaelyn. However, because of his duty, he tries to convince himself that you and your people are nothing more than half-men. If you're curious about his character, I strongly suggest you explore some of the official short stories created by Square. Specifically the one called "Through His Eyes". They give a lot more context to his motivations and actions.

if you haven't done it already there's actually a lv 80 dancer quest you can get in limsa after you finished the shadowbringers physical dps role quests. it isn't a blue+ quest just a normal one, but it's a capstone quest part of the DNC quest line worth doing!

I love how the duty finder has lore. Lol Also, did you ever talk to Emet when he was following you around and you had the chance to talk to him when everyone was standing around? You were able to ask him questions, and he gave bits of lore. Hythlodaeus said while sitting with you, said, "In our world, you two were once one". So, in the end, when Ardbert joined you against Hades...he saw us a little more complete. You should talk to NPCs more when they're standing around. I mean your group lol Can't wait for you to go through EW.

Mount musics break the immersion so badly, most of the time zone musics match the MSQ better. You can change that in the sound volume settings if interested. You can also turn off random outdoor combat musics if you want. It will still keep the musics for dungeons etc, even FATE encounters. Edit: Oops you checked at least mounts at 2:56 hours
