Time spent listening to Voddie Baucham is never wasted. I really appreciate his journey and his willingness to speak out against the kind of thinking that is poisoning Christian culture.
Well said sir!! His message has been sent by God! Has to be! Almost every word he speaks sounds like it came directly from my own head!! God bless him and his ministry! 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
As a African American woman I totally agree with Dr. Voddie saved lives matter and God said vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay , also the last will be first and the first last .... as a ethnic group of people we need to turn from our sins and follow the will of Christ.... because we are one race Human! Of many ethnic groups period 💪🏾💋
Viddie is my absolute favorite pastor ever! He's so BIBLICALLY SOLID, real, and he's so calm and peaceful . He speaks truth in a world of lies. God bless him and the host
bless you for referring to Rev. Dr. Baucham as Rev. its sad to see many Christians exalt the title of Dr - by always including it - but ignoring the pastoral title that the church gives to its ministers.
@@kimberleerivera3334 ok so why refer to him as DOCTOR baucham??????? or anyone as DR who isn't a medical doctor??????? unequal scales on prominent display. worldly titles matter very little in gods eyes. but the titles the church conveys on its faithful ministers should matter.
@HenryLeslieGraham That is a society thing. Anyone with a doctorate is called "doctor." It just indicates an advanced academic degree of study. He has a doctorate in ministry. Translation: Brother Baucham knows his stuff academically. He knows what he's talking about.
I expected Voddie to say basically, we need nothing, just for Christians to be faithful where they are planted and that's exactly what he said. Trusting God's sovereignty, that's glorious.
Hi there. I am a white South African woman. I just want to say that Voddie are one of my favourite preachers out there. We as South African white Christian people know the ridicule of the rest of the world. I understood completely what he said about being at the cross road of social justice or being Christian. I choose to be Christian, and I thank you Voddie for pointing out the fact that it is like everything about our faith, a conscious choice. God bless you for the work that you do, and may this message reach a lot more people that needs to hear it.
Love this brother. He exudes a calm confidence and sincerity. He is proving faithful with what has been entrusted to him. We agree on the essentials. Thx Jon for hosting Voddie.
What a bright future Zambia will have if the Lord grants success to voddie and that mission. I can see Zambia being a refuge for Americans one day possibly.
Whhoooeee! I love me some Dr.Baucham! Talk about a man of the clothb&faith! I hope I expressed myself properly. He reads me the truth straight from the mouth of God! It's refreshing!
2:18 dear Mary! I have been to lusaka and sowesie last year die my sons wedding. I Didnt know about pastor voddie or else i would have tried to go to see him at his church . I need a few real christian Friends.
Thank you, Jon, for the great conversation. Appreciate Pastor Bauccham stating differing histories about slavery. African tribe's enslaved other tribes and sold one another; Jamaica was big in slave trading, both Irish and black Africans. Our education is sorely lacking. May God continue to bless his ministry. He has important ideas to convey. As do you, God bless you also.
God Bless you Voddie for being Gods faithful servant in Zambia. God gave me a ministry to orphans and orphanages in Uganda and Kenya… Wiping Tears of African Children. Most of them are stronger Christians than their are here! They have so little but through it all they keep their eyes on Jesus! Im Praying for your ministry God has given you and we need yours 🙏❤️🙏
Voddie is the new Martin Luther King Jr! That being said his race has zip to do with why I love his teachings! It’s because it comes from the truth and the Bible! PERIOD!! Amen and God speed Voddie Baucham!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
All my life I would hear folkloric Andean Ecuadorian music and feel the power, peace, and joy not knowing why. Now older I realize despite poverty and the wide range of social, political, economic issues the Andes nations faces it is in the humble music that recognizes God as the creator which brings fruits to souls!
My first exposure to Voddie was back in 2006(?) when he spoke at the Desiring God conference titled, "The Supremacy of Christ in a Postmodern World". He said things I had never heard before, and continues to do so. I wish I could sit across from him and take 5 minutes to tell him the impact he's had, the clarity he's brought and the faith and confidence God has given me through his teachings. I will have to wait till that glorious day
This was the encouragement we needed after the G3 drama. While thinking over some of it, i couldnt help but notice many of the CN guys or at least those defending CN are younger and G3 older. That gave me pause, because these men at G3 have so much wisdom for us to glean from. But watching Voddie just come and encourage you in your work and the respect you have for him is such a picture of intergenerational harmony.
I don't know what happened at G3...I usually just watch to learn from the content. I wish we would stop dumbing things down for a "younger" generation. I am so grateful for the older believers God put in my life to teach and instruct me as a new believer. They made time and I could ask them anything! I could see their confidence in God and deeper knowledge and strived to get to that same place at a fast pace. It still has taken 20 years and still growing and learning, but at least I'm to a point where I can turn around and teach it back...hopefully to my church. The Bible says the older women should teach the younger ones, so there is an important place for the old folk in a church...not just a focus on the younger generation while kicking the older members to the curb.
Christians and other people too are needing a real education about truth and life, and the Lord is in the process of giving us one. Reality Wins. Thank the Lord for raising up Voddie and others like him, to help open our eyes.
Really love hearing Voddie preach. The biblical knowledge and intellect that he displays is Christ honoring. Also enjoy when folks like Voddie talk about what the culture is like where they're planted, as I (likely few Americans) know very little about Zambia.
I've never been racist but I find in the last few years being offended at the racism I've seen on platforms from black people and defensive against the notions that have been pushed. I find myself trying to evade black people as a whole to avoid confrontational conversation. I hate that but I don't know another way to approach this issue in today's climate.
Purchased the series at SalemNOW after listening to this interview. It only cost me $15! Jon already showed us the first video. I'm starting video number two, which is just under eight minutes long. Should be an easy series for a small group discussion. Very excited to share this with my small group Bible study.
It's sad how used we are to seeing our police beat the snout out of people here. Anyway, Dr. Baucham, your love for the gospel has inspired me to really wanna eat, breathe, and live the gospel. I hope to meet you some day. With love❤, from Zambia.
Voddie has such a down to earth quality coupled with the gravitas of an undertaker. He comes off as friendly and scary at the same time. Good interview!
22:00 I'm from Austria our constitution right now reads (paraphrased): "This is Austria the law comes from the people" VS Austrian constitution from 1934: "In the name of God, the Almighty, from whom all justice emanates, the Austrian people receive this constitution for their Christian, German federal state on a corporate basis" It really sad what happened...
Very good advice to young men seeking ministry needed input and prayer from elders. Our American individualism in our culture by passes this wisdom. My husband and I are results of this and we have observed this in others when we were young families wanting to serve the Lord in “ministry”. We are in our 70’s now.
Its been over 2 years that Fault lines has been released and I’m still waiting for TGC to publish a book review for it on their website. Wonder why they haven’t?? Lol
Love Voddie, God bless you both my dear dear brothers. Only just came across your channel but there's no subscription function. Why? Will make a note and find this channel again. Love from UK.
Loved your video I was in Pointe Noire Congo a few mounts ago and would love to go back and help I have been praying for a open door and your testimony has in courage me do you have any suggestions as to were I could help?
One reason I oppose social justice in the church is what social justice does to the gospel and evangelism. The Gospel is the power of God for salvation, nothing else saves. The gospel is the only thing that can move people from darkness to light. Paul's likens Christians to spiritual soldiers who do not entangle themselves in civilian pursuits. The transformation of society is a Marxist missionary pursuit of critical theory to bring about communism. When Christians abandon the great Commission for social justice they leave the power of God behind to pursue a different gospel. I am not ashamed to be white. The moralizers in the social justice church seek to shame, guilt and manipulate me to abandon the Gospel (which they dilute and blaspheme) to take up their civilian cause. Social justice was NOT how I learned Christ. I believe the scripture for the hour is Colossians 2:1-10 and Romans 12:1-2.
Jon, would you consider doing an 'American Gospel' type movie or documentary in which the the modern mixture of CRT and the gospel is depicted and critiqued?
For those of us working towards renewal in society. We have a Classical Christian School here in Princeton, NJ. We are looking to benefit in the years to come with fine men and women in Africa teaching us: rhetoric, science, Church History Latin, Greek and Hebrew. All glory be to God.
Baucham said it: "The gospel will always be the gospel. However we are not always faithful in how we communicate it." God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Christ would without a doubt excoriate the woke deceived and deceivers in 'churches' today just as He did with the Pharisees, Sadducee's and false teachings within the churches of His time.
Hebrews 3:4, 6 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Even though it was the focus this interview hit some great points on the current Christian nationalism debate. As a foreign missionary I totally agree.
How can I get this in the UK? I'm also so sick of the woke and racial agenda being pushed in UK. Having come from SA and seen "reverse racism " in action, I know that we need another view.
