The word gospel literally means “good news” and occurs 93 times in the Bible, exclusively in the New Testament. In Greek, it is the word euaggelion, from which we get our English words evangelist, evangel, and evangelical. The gospel is, broadly speaking, the whole of Scripture; more narrowly, the gospel is the good news concerning Christ and the way of salvation. The key to understanding the gospel is to know why it’s good news. To do that, we must start with the bad news. The Old Testament Law was given to Israel during the time of Moses (Deuteronomy 5:1). The Law can be thought of as a measuring stick, and sin is anything that falls short of “perfect” according to that standard. The righteous requirement of the Law is so stringent that no human being could possibly follow it perfectly, in letter or in spirit. Despite our “goodness” or “badness” relative to each other, we are all in the same spiritual boat-we have sinned, and the punishment for sin is death, i.e. separation from God, the source of life (Romans 3:23). In order for us to go to heaven, God’s dwelling place and the realm of life and light, sin must be somehow removed or paid for. The Law established the fact that cleansing from sin can only happen through the bloody sacrifice of an innocent life (Hebrews 9:22). The gospel involves Jesus’ death on the cross as the sin offering to fulfill the Law’s righteous requirement (Romans 8:3-4; Hebrews 10:5-10). Under the Law, animal sacrifices were offered year after year as a reminder of sin and a symbol of the coming sacrifice of Christ (Hebrews 10:3-4). When Christ offered Himself at Calvary, that symbol became a reality for all who would believe (Hebrews 10:11-18). The work of atonement is finished now, and that’s good news. The gospel also involves Jesus’ resurrection on the third day. “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification” (Romans 4:25). The fact that Jesus conquered sin and death (sin’s penalty) is good news, indeed. The fact that He offers to share that victory with us is the greatest news of all (John 14:19). The elements of the gospel are clearly stated in 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, a key passage concerning the good news of God: “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living.” Notice, first, that Paul “received” the gospel and then “passed it on”; this is a divine message, not a man-made invention. Second, the gospel is “of first importance.” Everywhere the apostles went, they preached the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Third, the message of the gospel is accompanied by proofs: Christ died for our sins (proved by His burial), and He rose again the third day (proved by the eyewitnesses). Fourth, all this was done “according to the Scriptures”; the theme of the whole Bible is the salvation of mankind through Christ. The Bible is the gospel. “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). The gospel is a bold message, and we are not ashamed of proclaiming it. It is a powerful message, because it is God’s good news. It is a saving message, the only thing that can truly reform the human heart. It is a universal message, for Jews and Gentiles both. And the gospel is received by faith; salvation is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). The gospel is the good news that God loves the world enough to give His only Son to die for our sin (John 3:16). The gospel is good news because our salvation and eternal life and home in heaven are guaranteed through Christ (John 14:1-4). “He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:3-4). The gospel is good news when we understand that we do not (and cannot) earn our salvation; the work of redemption and justification is complete, having been finished on the cross (John 19:30). Jesus is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 2:2). The gospel is the good news that we, who were once enemies of God, have been reconciled by the blood of Christ and adopted into the family of God (Romans 5:10; John 1:12). “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1). The gospel is the good news that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). To reject the gospel is to embrace the bad news. Condemnation before God is the result of a lack of faith in the Son of God, God’s only provision for salvation. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:17-18). God has given a doomed world good news: the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The Gospel, only bible verses. heartcrymissionary.com/books/the-gospel-of-jesus-christ-tract/

@@Momonga32 In the American Standard Version and the NIV, Leviticus 18. 20 is about "unlawful" sexual relations, just sayin'. Still, I don't want to seem critical of your opinion, after all one could still cite Leviticus 18. 22 (New Living Translation), where homosexuality is referred to as a sin.
@@Momonga32 from the looks of your profile and instagram you seem quite prideful of your physical attributes so to quote 1 Timothy 4:8 “For physical exercise is of limited value, but godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for the present life and for the one to come.” practice having godly and loving values towards others as shown in the new testament rather than the more objective old testament in which leviticus resides in. Gods law changes as does the time. further supporting this in the 10 commandments adultery is seen as a sin yet in John 8 jesus prevents the stoning of a prostitute and as son of God and the messiah surely he is not wrong?
One night a man hada dream. He was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, the other to the Lord. At the lowest and saddest times in his life he noticed there was only one set of footprints. He questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you promised to be with mealways. But during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints, I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you,"
Honestly. And people think they're doing the right thing by saying this. The best thing they can do if they don't support it is to leave the community alone. They're going through too much already as a minority.
@@evanr5871 to be homophobic means to be afraid of homosexuals, which most people aren't. Vast majority of people wouldn't care what yall did if you didn't shove it down our throats
@@davidnewhart2533 Feel free to reference my previous comments if you feel like making ignorant statements. .... 1. "It's a violation of the created order" False, homosexuality is a part of the created order, it is a part of thousands of animals species and exists in ever recorded period of history and in all societies(Homophobic societies being the outlier). While it is may be true that homosexuality didn't exist in the garden, neither did cities, or children. This does not make them a moral evil. 1.b "It's not how we were made" It certainly is how some people are made. "unnatural desire is a contradiction in terms" 2. "It denounces procreation categorically" First of all, no. The lack of ability to procreate or the choice not to is not a total rejection of procreation as a concept. But even supposing that it were. simply.. not reproducing is not a crime, a sin or even a problem in most cases. Jesus, the perfect man, had no children. Neither did Paul or a great many other important figures in scripture and church history. Furthermore, many Queer people are able, willing and in fact eager to raise children. Many do so via adoption(which certain Christians oppose despite the supposed moral necessity of having children) but others have their own biological children, usually through a donor relative. Though of course technology already exists to produce gametes from genetic samples, being essentially a cure for infertility and a solution to this apparently oh so important issue of Queer childlessness. 3. "It blasphemes the illustration" This sounds like the first point but in stronger terms; stronger terms which are even more easy to discount. God is a God of Love(1 John 4:8) how then is Love, a thing against which there is no law(Galatians 5:22-23) a blasphemy against his "illustration"? What is this illustration anyways? It sounds like a convenient construct that you get to decide the bounds of. 3.b "This is especially true when we understand the illustration of Christ and his bride the church" That's not really an illustration as much as it is an analogy. If you take it literally that just means that Christ is going to be marrying lots of people(male and female) or Christ is going to be marrying an abstract concept which has no gender. Either way gender seems rather irrelevant here. 4. "It denies the very need for sanctification" This is just made up. Nowhere in any mainstream understanding of same-sex orientations or Love does anyon make the claim that it makes them perfect. Queer people need to repent just as much as straight people it's just that their Love is not something to repent of. Queer Christians can and do exist. 4.c "God calls this an abomination" No, patently false. Homosexuality is never mentioned in scripture, only homoeroticism. And the passage you are referring to is from Levitical Law, which Christians do not follow. Even if that weren't the case the passages (Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13) are dubiously translated at best. And even if we took them at their English version of face value it doesn't prohbit homosexuality, it doesn't even prohibit all types of homoeroticism. So we're several layers deep into absurdities. 5. "It is the only sin... for which God destroyed cities with fire and brimstone" That is not in scripture. We know nothing of the day to day events of Gomorrah and both cities were condemned before the angels even arrived(Genesis 18). What's more nothing homosexual occurred. There was an attempted gang rape(likely xenophobic in nature) against two non-male angels. Even if they had been successful you can't make angels conform to human genders and you can't make condemntation of gang rape into a commentary on gender. It just doesn't work that way. The closest possible reference to this event outside of Genesis is Jude 1:7 which describes a part of their sin(there were many sins associated with the cities) as pursuing "strange flesh" or in the Greek "heteras sarkos", heteras here meaning different or opposite; it also sharing its root with heterosexual. So in reality, if this is a commentary on the attempted rape after all, the problem was not the similarities between the two parties but their differences. 5.b "It's unique, it's not like other sins." Pure speculation, even if homosexuality were a sin its far from the only sin of Sodom and Gomorrah, but I find it very interesting that you're saying that homosexuality is worse than rape and that is is a sin that surpasses the sufficiency of grace.. which is a biblical heresy.. Seems like an odd choice. 5.c "Not all sins are called abominations" Actually nothing in the Bible is called an "abomination" that translation has been inaccurate for centuries due to linguistic drift. However if you want to compare homosexuality(actually not homosexuality but perhaps a specific type of homoeroticism) to other things mentioned with that same word you'd have to include: Hebrews and Egyptians eating together(Genesis 43:32) Looting a conquered city(Deuteronomy 7:25) Sacrificing an imperfect animals(Deuteronomy 17:1) Marrying again if your first wife is divorced or widowed from another man(Deuteronomy 24:4) Dishonest measurments(Deuteronomy 25:16) Intercultural marriage?(Ezra 9:1) Lying(Proverbs 12:22) Scoffers(Proverbs 24:9) I don't think that the Hebrew word here is as siginificant as you might think, tha's probably why it's been corrected in English translations for the better part of a century. .... Nothing in this video is stated in the Bible it's barely influenced by the Bible. It's not even misunderstanding it's personal rhetoric.

1. Violation of the created order - it's not how we were made 2. Denounces procreation, categorically 3. It blasphemes the illustration. Especially true with Christ and His bride the church. 4. It denies the very need for sanctification when God calls it an abomination and we call it righteous.
@@victormsika1538 I am a Christian and I have a degree in Biblical studies. But apart from the fact that he mostly doesn't reference scripture, he also uses a lot of rhetorical fluff that means nothing/ Let's look at some of his claims: "Violation of the created order" According to whom? Who decides what the created order even is, and who decides what constitutes a "violation". Nature is not a legal code, you don't violate anyone or anything by being different. "it's not how we were made " This is purely opinion, but even if it were true so what? We weren't made to wear clothes either. Our tongue wasn't made to lick envelopes but we do. This is speculative and irrelevant. "Denounces procreation, categorically" Being unable to procreate is not the same thing as rejecting it, that's stupid. The elderly are not "denouncing" acrobatics, they just can't do it. And this is especially ridiculous because some Queer couples can have their own biological children and many more want to. Meanwhile many people knowingly enter long-term monogamous relationships with people that they know are infertile. They're not denouncing procreation, they're just no prioritizing it. and "categorically" is just one of those words that makes something sound stronger without actually meaning anything. "It blasphemes the illustration." How is "Blaspheming" any different from "violating" and how is "illustration" anything but a poetic term for a created order? He's repeating himself. Better yet, how is this claim any more relevant or less subjective than the previous. "Especially true with Christ and His bride the church. " This is irrelevant. The Church is not a female and the marriage is not literal. If the marriage were literal than Jesus would be marrying millions of people, many of whom are not female either. It does not make any sense in this conversation. "It denies the very need for sanctification" Denying that something in particular is a sin(i.e. dancing, cards, women wearing pants) is not remotely the same as denying the concept of sin in general. This point is stupid or dishonest. "when God calls it an abomination and we call it righteous." This is untrue, "abomination" itself is a mistranslation, and in case the Bible never mentions homosexuality, it only briefly mentions male-male sexuality, and never with a universal condemnation. Meanwhile Love is defined stated to be a fruit of the spirit(Galatians 5:22-23) and the nature of God(1 John 4:8). Love is a moral good above reproach, to defend that fact is not a denial of the gospel and it's dishonest to imply otherwise.
Voddie Baucham hits the nail on the head every time! He so brave and courageous to be so obedient! I love him, I love Christ that I see in him! I wish all of our pastors and preachers were just like him. Thank you Father God for doing your good work through Voddie Baucham!
Never does the Bible state that cities were destroyed because of the practice of homosexuality. Not once. Go read the Bible. The prophet Ezekiel states exactly why Sodom was destroyed in 16:49, 50 “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.” Weird. Not even a mention of homosexuality. Proverbs 6, however, contains a list of things God hates. Homosexuality is not listed, but a lying tongue is. So, maybe stop lying about what the Bible says.
Homosexuality has been a thing before the Bible was created. One might think that the religion itself was created to make it sinful among other things.

The one that sticks out most is denying sanctification seems to be the only one that political space for debate. Denying the need to seek a morally approval lifestyle leads to societal withering.

@Fisher of Men Ministries so 2 thing, 1 the new text talks only about man homosexuality so women are allowed, 2 this is a new English mistranslation done by a homophobe, the first one talks about Sodoma, that if you don't know, wasn't destroyed for just homosexuality but because it was a city devoted to in general, in fact very few people were homosexual in those city, but if you think that they deserved it than I think you also think that giving away your daughters to be raped and than making incest is a good thing, since it's what lot did
This guy: "It blasphemes the illustration of Christ and his bride the church." Me: sure but the church is ran by the pope and more often then not the pope is male, meaning the pope would be Christ's husband and as Christ is male that is a homosexual relationship.
When the bible says "Love the Lord", it doesn't mean it in a lustful or a husband sort of way. It means love him as if he is a shepherd and your the sheep.
You see, God did not create homosexuality. Sin did. Sin comes from Satan, the incarnation of evil itself. God fights Satan's creation by sending out preachers like this. Hope this helps ❤
@@Grokford Nope, penguins did not stumble upon original sin. That is simply nature. Are you assuming that we humans also have to lay eggs, such as penguins do?
@@RavanoxYT It’s a comparison, we can talk about Bonobos if you prefer. They live in bisexual polygamous groups(which wouldn’t be the worst thing) but that’s not the point, the point is that nature is a part of God’s design no matter how fallen. And homosexuality exists in nearly every social species and then some, you might be able to attribute that to some sort of corruption but how would that account for things inherent to a species survival? The idea that pre-marital sex is a sin means that all sexual species are in a constant state of sin because there is no marriage. Bees have three sexes, some mushrooms have hundreds, some lizards, fish and insects have only one. Meanwhile many species switch sex at various points in their lives. These are all things that not only occur, but are necessary for the world to be. Which either means that some evil has denatured creation to such a point where these creatures aren’t even the same thing anymore or God had planned for it all along. John chapter 4 verse 20 says “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” We are all sinners and we all need to be saved. Romans says the wages of sin is death. We live in total depravity in today’s society. We do, but there's a difference between love and approval. A good parent loves their child no matter what, but will not always approve of their behavior (temper tantrums, stealing, bullying others, etc). There seems to be this idea that love and kindness is always nice. It's not. Let's say you have a friend that started to lose so much weight that they look like a walking skeleton and they comment to you one day that they still have weight to lose, would you pat them on the back and encourage them, or would you tell them that they need help, that they're killing themselves? Love tells you what you need to hear, it builds up. Niceness tells you what you want to hear, it's a poor imitation of love, it can't build up, it can only puff up. As Christ followers we would be lying if we said God approves of homosexuality, we would be telling you what you want to hear, we would be patting you on the back as you wither away. We love you and we want you to live and to know a peace and comfort that's, quite frankly, indescribable. It's so beautiful. That's why actual Christians, not those who say they are but act otherwise, say and stand by what this video says. It's biblical, from Old Testament to New Testament. But we can't and don't want to force it on you, it's your decision, and while we can accept your decisions, we can't always approve of them. We still love you though.

The bible is a massive gay story book based on two men named Adam and Steve, they tried procreating it didn’t work so a woman was made just for a kid then Adam can go back to Steve. On the other hand Eve started to feel lonely so God made Eve a lady friend named Stacey and life’s been one big orgy story since. Then Jesus was gay as he had no children and had not had sex with women so he knew he didn’t have much to live for he then died for us and 2000 years on and we are doing him proud

@G e r r a The reality is, the Bible doesn’t answer every question 100% clearly. In the video he made good points, but there are also so many times where God professes his limitless and unconditional love for us saying he is for us not against us and loads of verses telling us to love like God. OK, so let's take that point and run with it- the big man has taken so much care in the creation of the individual that he knows everyone down to the number of hairs on their head. Could he not have also had a hand in dude liking dudes? To say homosexuality isn't in God's plan yet he knows you down to the hairs on your head is a bit selective.
Not necessarily , we conveniently leave out when we consider creation that we were all born in sin. He made us, but coming into the world we all have our sins and some of us have different sins that we lean towards naturally.
Exactly. Who was the person who heard God say homosexuality is wrong cause the Bible was written by man not by God. The Bible was written many years after Jesus died by man.

My problem with this is God didn't write the Bible where it supposedly says homosexuality is wrong. No where in the bible does it say that in those exact words. The bible was written by man and we all know how men have gotten many things wrong in life. Example, Wars, running countries even the Pope was born a regular man. So how would anyone know what God did when no one has ever witnessed or spoken to God. Also the Bible was written by men years after Christ had died on the cross. So here we go hearing men say what they feel is right or wrong!!! My opinion. I live as a gay man I believe in God I'm a good person who has committed sins but I have always asked God for forgiveness and my Mother and family and friends accept me for who I am and Love me unconditionally so that is all the acceptance and Love I need. How can someone from a church bash anyone when it says to love and accept everyone. So right there the Bible is being hypocritical!!! No where in the bible said there should be slavery but many countries for many decades had slavery and I'm not talking about black slaves only. Men have ruled and ran countries for years and never perfected it. Men did what they thought was best which didn't make it right. Now a man is saying Homosexuality is wrong. Well if that man lives without sin his whole life I might believe him but no man lives without sin!!! Like Jesus Said, Let the first man who has Not sinned, throw the first stone!!!
Nothing is wrong with homosexuality, but there is something wrong with trying to take way rights from people that don't conform to your idea of right. If you want to talk about sin, how about cherry picking the word of god to fit your twisted views? So follow the bible or not, but don't go around and pick things that only fits your prejudice - hypocrites!!!
@@tamchan27 Yes, he is. This clip focuses on small part of a sermon - he's cherry picking what is to be followed and not. what parts of the old testament should be ignored and what parts followed? Here: let the pastor's prejudice tell you! Do not tell me they follow the bible! They follow the parts that coincides with their views and prejudices. So the bible is the true and word of god? There's a shitload of translation problems and there's whole lot of interpretation in the bible verses and all of them talk about it being the immutable word of god - so that is one issue I have with this, . The hypocrisy in what to follow in the bible is another. Not mentioning other things that conveniently would be major sins , like blending fabrics, cutting your hair, eating unclean animals, and focusing on things that coincidentally agrees with your prejudice - that is cherry picking! They only apply what suits them. I don't hear Christians calling out people blending fabrics( "You shall not wear a fabric made of wool and linen blended together") or eating pigs ""And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you") . But picking other passages from the bible to deny people rights, is okay? They should follow "You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye" or “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you." If they are picking verse why not pick: "Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother." These people shouldn't call themselves Christians, they should call themselves like bible-psychos. Rant over.

Well, I’m just as convinced He is. And if God IS real (which He is), then there is a reason why it’s bad. It goes against His creation and our morals are based off His morals, meaning basically… I mean whatever He says is wrong just IS wrong BECAUSE He said it. For someone who believes this wholeheartedly, your argument sounds like “what if gravity didn’t exist? Then I could just float” Well… yeah. You could. But look at your feet, look where your standing. I know gravity exists, I see *evidence* of it everyday even if it’s not in and off itself visible. (I apologize if any of my wording made me sound harsh. I’m just trying to explain from my perspective and talk with examples that might be more likely to click in your head. I don’t mean to provoke you, anger you, or sound sarcastic, snarky, or bitter)
But why is me (a woman) kissing another girl or being attracted to another girl a sin? Just because I was not “created” that way why is it wrong? Also you can only convince me that god is real by giving me solid evidence that He (or She or They) are real. I see where you are coming from but with something like gravity you have so much proven evidence that it is real because you see it all around you. But what is evidence that god does exist? (Sorry for any spelling mistakes ext, I’m obviously not very educated on christianity ext.)
Who clued him into "the created order"? How does he know what that is? Homosexuality is fairly common in nature. Is that not the created order? What harm to him are homosexuals doing? How is another human being 's sex life any of his business? And, the bigger question, WHY is he so interested in what other people are doing in their bedrooms?? I don't care who my neighbor is sleeping with, as long as its consensual and legal. I'm certainly not obsessed with it, as he obviously is!
The created order can be found in the Bible and it is the way in which God intended the world to be. Homosexuality is a violation of this order, as it says here: “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are *contrary to nature* ; and the men likewise gave up *natural relations* with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Romans 1:26-27 ESV It’s clear that these verses point towards the fact that homosexuality is against the natural design God created for humans. As for homosexuality in nature, the created order for animals is not the same order given to us humans. Just because other organisms partake in homosexual behaviors doesn’t mean we should too. I mean some animals eat their young, that doesn’t mean we should do it too. The Bible makes it clear that humans and animals are fundamentally created differently in the sense that we are created in the image of God, with an innate sense of morality, while animals are not. Therefore we cannot look at the behavior of animals if we want to know what is right or not, we have to look at the Word of God. The reason many Christians are so concerned about homosexuality is because it (like all sin) will lead someone to hell if left untreated. Because Christians care so much about people getting saved, they speak the truth of the Bible and expose what is sinful. This is exactly what Jesus did.
@@tyrannosaurusrex8183 "The created order can be found in the Bible" According to whose interpretation? "and it is the way in which God intended the world to be." So nude childless vegans. Or is the Garden not God's intent for this world? "Homosexuality is a violation of this order, as it says here: " It doesn't actually. It never mentions homosexuality, in fact it specifies that the men were heterosexual or something similar. I'm not sure what you call a man who naturally has relations with women, but I wouldn't call him a homosexual. "It’s clear that these verses point towards the fact that homosexuality.." "Clear" is one of those words, it's almost entirely unhelpful in disagreements and more than likely just insults the people you're talking to. "As for homosexuality in nature, the created order for animals is not the same order given to us humans. " That may be, but it doesn't remove the question as to why homosexuality exists in animals(part of the natural order if you will) if it's not part of God's plan. "we are created in the image of God, with an innate sense of morality" If you believe that humans have innate morality then the question I have to pose is why is it that homophobia is historically the exception rather than the rule? And why is it that even in homophobic societies people still arise who have no problem with homosexuality. People don't act this way about murder, they don't even act this way about slavery which existed for most of human history. Those who try to justify it almost always try to justify it by denaturing it. It's not murder, it's not the violation and control of another human will, it's shepherding the feeble and giving them work. "The reason many Christians are so concerned about homosexuality is because it (like all sin) will lead someone to hell if left untreated. " That's the excuse sure, but that's not the reason. The reason is disgust. People aren't grossed out by a lie, people aren't appalled at tax fraud. But homophobic people almost universally have an involuntary disgust response. Which is why homosexuality is not just one sin among many others; for them homosexuality is a moral cancer, a societal threat. Never mind the grace of God these people usually want homosexuality to be eliminated and then they want to never have to think about it again. " they speak the truth of the Bible and expose what is sinful. " No. they premise the acceptance of their moral stances as an artificial pre-requisite on the free grace of God. They are creating a barrier for those whom they disagree with, they are gatekeeping the gospel. " This is exactly what Jesus did." Which I shouldn't have to tell you, is the opposite of what Jesus did.

They're not denouncing procreation, they're just not prioritizing it. and "categorically" is just one of those words that makes something sound stronger without actually meaning anything. Meanwhile Love is stated to be a fruit of the spirit(Galatians 5:22-23) and the nature of God(1 John 4:8). Love is a moral good above reproach, to defend that fact is not a denial of the gospel and it's dishonest to imply otherwise.
