In this video, I downloaded LightHost
so I can use Pitchproof without any problem
like I did in the OBS Studio.
It is particularly useful for those who want specific accent
when conducting video conference with their clients.
I tried changing my voice during my ‪@JitsiOrg‬ meet session.

@@sadsdadsdadadsadas3170 maybe you can delete the setup files in the Lighthost folder ... sometimes Lighthost doesn't load up properly ...

@@clueple Hello. I don't know if you can understand this message because I am using google translator. But I need your help, can't I use these programs with the built-in microphone of the computer? Because I couldn't get Pitchproof to work in VoiceMeeter.

I have been able to install and configure pitchproof perfectly. But I have not been able to get it to work in Voicemeeter, I think it is a problem with the light host setting, I have used the setting you used and explained in your video but it didn't work so I tried a different setting and was able to change the pitch of my voice in Ligh Host but did not change it in Voicemeeter

@@sadsdadsdadadsadas3170 there might be 2 problems: 1) after you setup pitproof, you need to restart the voicemeeter banana to take effect OR 2) sound driver incompatible (can be complicated ... hard to tell in a just a few words) so you may a) turn on lighthost b) and once you're in VoiceMeeter Banana, restart (go to Menu -> Restart Audio Engine) ... it may work ... Also remember to set the hardware input (there are 3 of them)... pick one and point it to the mic that you're using... Hope it helps...

when I try to add my vst plugins, lighthost, doesn't load them properly. Ive tried redownloading and other things but just wont load them. how do i get it to load right

see if you can delete the setting file in the lighthost folder (you know where lighthost exe is stored, right?) ... then relaunch lighthost once ... you should be able to see the lighthost sitting in your toolbar Lighthost has a major flaw that it disappears every time you add a plugin (that means after you added a plugin (the lighthost toolbar disappear)... then you have to go to the window start menu and right click the lighthost icon again to bring up the lighthost menu and add your next plugin ... Hope it helps...

What did you use to produce this tutorial? Especially interested in your technique for zooming in, spotlighting, and blurring windows.

I use a free editor (Olive Editor 0.1, see link below) www.olivevideoeditor.org/downloadlegacy.php For zooming, I use the Windows' hotkey [Window key] + [+ (zoom in] or [-(zoom out)] when I shoot the video (call it 'live zoom features') The highlight is done in post production in Olive. Add a 'solid' object (under title -> solid) then apply 1 filter: 1) crop Use the keyframe features inside the crop to play around with the opacity and size of the box Usually, my 4 keyframes will be: 1) initial keyframe, opacity: 0, size: original resolution 2) opacity: 60: size: frame it for your target object 3) same as (2) 4) same as (1)

Hi when I add the plugin it works in LightHost, but it doesn't work in obs studio, what should I do? I have installed equalizer apo.
@clueple
@clueple 3 года назад
I haven't tried equalizer apo ... For LightHost, if you can play (and hear) your own voice in LightHost, you can add an audio-input filter in OBS that gets signal from desktop* On my Win 10 machine, whenever I add a VST filter with PitchProof, I will crash. Therefore, if I were to use LightHost, I would use the above way to get the desktop sound. One drawback of the above way (using Desktop Audio out as input audio to OBS) is... you can't split your voice and other desktop audio (e.g. a song you play in the background) If you want to have separate audio (your voice and other audio/music), you might need the free VoiceMeeter Banana (the latest version VoiceMeeter Potato). *assume that you set your playback device to be your desktop speaker Hope it helps.

@@clueple With equalizer apo I can apply the plugin, for everything in real time without delay, without the need for a virtual cable

@@franktntx Oops, I haven't tried equalizer APO ... maybe this video can help you with the equalizer APO ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zh7efMRMliA.html What I guess is pointing your VST to pitchproof / whatever VST plugin you want in your Equalizer APO , and then add the audio input channel in OBS Studio... Hope it works for you...

You don't need a virtual cable.

hey bro! it worked for me! but I have a problem, the audio quality when I activate light host sounds terrible. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It only sounds bad when I activate lighthost
@clueple
@clueple 2 года назад
There maybe several reasons: 1) in case of low-end machine, LightHost doesn't run stable (e.g. my 2016 old dual-core Asus laptop) 2) conflict of audio drivers (this depends on what audio drivers you have) 3) not enough RAM; let's say if you open a lot of browsers and programs while running lighthost, and you only have 8GB RAM or less, you might have crackled sound when you feed audio input to the program (lighthost) 4) if your audio playback device is 32-bit and you use the 64-bit lighthost, you'll also have weird (crackled or other strange) sound when you feed audio input to lighthost.... These are all that I encountered when installing lighthost in my computers ... See if any of them applies ....
