I always think of how blessed I am to be living in a time that Dimash Kudiabergan is living and creating his art. In hundreds of years from now history will still be talking about him with awe in their voices.

Honestly I didn’t notice any of the technical aspects when I listend to it for the 7-8 times I listened to it. For me just heaven’s gates opened and Dimash sent me to heaven with the first note.

Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop, and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his master's with honors having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his Ph.D. Dimash is a perfectionist and a workaholic. In interviews on Kazak TV, he stated that he wakes up at 5AM (7 days a week). By 5:30AM he has begun doing 3 hours of vocal exercises (scales, arpeggios, lip bubbles, etc..). That is before he even begins his workday in the studio or at rehearsals for a concert. To improve his lung capacity and breath control, he will either swim laps in a pool for 1 hour uninterrupted or hit the treadmill for a 5k run. Sometimes, he will substitute that for a full-on 90-minute soccer match with his mates and their team. He says he hates vacations. Dimash is the real deal when it comes to showing how hard work and dedication will make you succeed! He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese, and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever listened to, and only Dimash's voice could evoke such a profound emotional response in me. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance numerous times already since it premiered and my eyes fill with tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice. Most of what I am sharing below is more for the benefit of others, as you yourself certainly already know most of what I am stating. This is a vocalise interpretation of Ave Maria that Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed for Dimash (not a cover), using only 4 original bars from the original composition. The last note Diamsh sings is known as "Messa di Voce", the singing of a gradual crescendo and decrescendo on a long sustained note. It is considered one of the most difficult exercises for singers and voice experts regard it as a singer’s ultimate test, a skill even the most experienced rarely ever master. There are at least 10 other compositions titled "Ave Maria" and over 40 different renditions of these versions. The version most people are likely familiar with is Schubert's 1825 composition or the 1853 Gounod composition, based on a famous Bach keyboard prelude written 137 years earlier. He came in at the beginning with no instrumentation. All the noise had stopped. Perfect pitch because I looked at his ears… no monitors. Then Igor had to trust either that dimashs vocals were what he was coming in with or he too had perfect pitch and knew that Dimash was in the right key. With auto tune and drum gagets I don’t think people are using pure music like this. I would love to hear this live in a cathedral.
