Fun fact: when Geoff starts singing, Eli (the one with glasses) takes over the bass line. Another great Disney medley is Nick Pitera’s One Man Disney Movie. He hits most of the classics.
Geoff actually does have videos on his RU-vid channel of him narrating short stories and poems and I actually use them to fall asleep like you said lol I'm not ashamed
She has done 5 or 6 videos with them. She also has a RU-vid channel and competed in Americas Got Talent. Geoff does of reading of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" on his channel, I'm not sure if that would help a person fall asleep (My eyes would be wide open most of the night.)
Geoff Castellucci, the bass has his own RU-vid channel if you want to listen to him speak. Definitely one of my bass idols. Do you ever tour? I would love to come one of your shows.
Oh totally agreed, Tomi need more attention, he's insane especially considering he's younger than many of the other "super basses" people talk about at the moment, which means he's only going to be getting better.
And if you want to see more of Rachel Potter, check out their Phantom Of The Opera, with Tony, their former baritone. I'm a bit of a Phantom purist (I saw it with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, so nothing will ever compare to that) but after a couple listens it really grew on me (it was the first Voiceplay video I saw.), and now I love it and can truly appreciate the wonder of it being done ACapella!
Voiceplay went for a while when their first baritone left and they were auditioning for the part (which J. None eventually got). Rachel and a few others filled in the gap during that time.
Sooo......., Brad,.....what do your nieces think of VP's rendition of these Moana songs? Have they heard VP's Frozen2 medley? My grandaughters (ages 2 and 6) have become huge VP fans. The like both the Moana and Frozen2 medleys, but they especially like "Oogie Boogie's Song"! (Go figure.)
Rachel is my favorite singer, well next to Celine Dion, lol! She played Wednesday in the Adams Family on Broadway as well as Glinda in Wicked and the mistress in Evita. She was also Nemo and The Little Mermaid at Disney World. and has also done some Taylor Swift covers and sounds better than Swift! Look up “Lover, You Matter to Me”. It’s her latest!
Rachel? Rachel Potter! BEFORE VoicePlay and Home Free appeared on Season 4 of The Sing-Off, VoicePlay featured Rachel in the first of 7 videos: [ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-spa88tPh2HE.html ] Autumn 2013, Rachel appeared instead on X-Factor - qualifying with an epic audition: [ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xq0h_0PwnGE.html ] Rachel's career had already included a stint at Disney World (met VoicePlay & Voctave) then roles on Broadway in The Addams Family and Evita. ... Okay, so I'm a fan of Voiceplay, Voctave, Home Free, Pentatonix, and others plus Rachel Potter.
Hey, speaking of Geoff Castellucci speaking, check out his own RU-vid channel! You can listen to him read The Raven by Poe as you fall asleep. His voice is like a jacuzzi, warm, comforting, kinda wraps itself around you...He also has another story and some instructional videos on there too, on how to sing so low and stuff. So yeah, you can just listen to him talk...or put it on repeat and have him talk you into dreamland!
Wow.. Check out Rachel Potter singing a country version of "Someone To Love" on the XFactor! I have seen her in many Voice Play videos, and just love her, but until you reacted to her, I had never actually looked her up.
You're definitely on of the best (if not THE best) reactor of those acapella vids. I hope your channel grows even more. And while at it I would recommend you to react to some of Tomi P's vids.
I mean, the bass guy (Geoff Castellucci) has his own channel and one of his videos is literally reading a book. I'd reccommend listening to it if you like his voice.
Geoff Castellucci has some recordings of him telling a story, I don't remember exactly, but he has a few videos on his RU-vid channel, you definetly need to check him out ;D Edit: ah someone has already commented about that, sorry
I’m so glad to find another adult who still loves Disney movies! And with that fact I hope that you watch the “Hercules Muses Medley” by Michael Korte it is absolutely amazing and I’m sure you’ll love it 😊 here is the link for if you want to check it out 👉🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T_hRfk4VZHs.html
Sorry Brad I'm thinking Rachel would be better to sing me to sleep. AS for trains of thought mine derailed ages ago. Yeah I'm thinking it was the Bronze age when I was in my 30's
Geoff can go as low as a Eb0 up to an A5. He tends to use subharmonics where TIm Foust uses more growl to hit his low notes. Geoff has a video out about the basics of doing both. I'd say don't try it without professional coaching, but it will hurt too much after a few tries to keep going anyway.
Rachel was on either americas got talent, or the x factor,i cant remember which one.she was a bartender, she did queens, somebody to love. you should do a search for it and take a look. i found the link for you .ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xq0h_0PwnGE.html
Geoff (the bass) does a read of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven." Since you like Disney, I reccomend you check out a barbershop quartet a cover of Michael Bolton's "Go the Distance" from Disney's Hercules. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jawmji4Caas.html
I will offer up a video that has had 0 reactions and FAR fewer views than deserved. Since I know how you feel about Voctave and seem to be a Disney kinda guy as well and clearly enjoyed Rachel Potter, watch/react to the Disney Trio "Animazement" on Rachel's RU-vid channel. Rachel and EJ and Jamie from Voctave before Vocatve was Voctave.
