Regarding the lengths they go to: Cesar was wearing a heavy chain mail shirt. He had to lie on the floor between takes to give his shouders a break. That's dedication.
Skyrim junkie here! Loved this production! Costumes, acting and special effects were amazing! Dragon shout was awesome! Seen it dozens of times and never gets old. Fire!!!
So very gorgeous. They do take a lot of care and do it all themselves - purely with Patreon support. Thank you Dale! There are people who can tell you exactly who each of them dressed as 😉🌹🕊
Cesar wearing 20 lbs of REAL chainmail. Also- regarding your comment about bringing in the tenors first - likely the choice was made because Eli (and Omar and Cesar) can sing in other languages easier than Geoff or Layne. Not that you won't hear Geoff or Layne do that, but they are the ones least likely to be singing in another language.
I am very old and not a gamer. I learn so much from reactors who are involved in gaming, I love how it touches people. And as you said, the performance was flawless. They always pay homage to the original, but it will always be Voiceplay!
Omar is a gamer, as are Cesar and Eli. Geoff and Layne are not gamers, but no matter who is doing the arranging, everyone has input. (Of course, Layne has said “I listen to everyone’s input and then do what I want”. But he likes to joke around. )
@@daletimberlake8109 Dale!! I was hoping you would see my comment. Are you the same Dale that requested Sir Hairless, too? I just bumped up my membership with him so I can request specific songs. Fellow VoicePlay superfan here! 😅
@@thisismetoday7423 Yes - the same. I've requested SH do Hellfire as my next request with him. I love his analysis. I've watched at least 30 reactions to Valhalla Calling and SH covered more than all 30 combined.
@@daletimberlake8109 Yessss!! I LOVE him so much. I requested We Don’t Talk About Bruno because so far he’s only seen their more serious side but I’m so glad you requested Hellfire because it’s one of my favorites!! Now I’m trying to decide what to go with next 😅
@@daletimberlake8109 Oh, and if you haven’t already you might really enjoy Fairy Voice Mother’s VoicePlay reactions. She’s only done 3 but they are musically detailed and very funny!
I am not a gamer but am a huge old-school fantasy reader, and Omar has the PERFECT pure elf voice! And Geoff has a dragon living in his voical chords, of course.
I've been thinking of starting up again from the beginning. Paarthunax was awesome! I played all the predecessors to Skyrim also. As we say in Texas; y'all be safe. Everyone!!
Another great Sebs reaction!! So, even though you weren't a big Halo player, you'll recognize the theme. The composer, Marty O'Donnell absolutely loves the VoicePlay version. There's a great bit of Voiceplay history at the end of the song, so if you do watch Halo, you MUST watch all the way to the end while still on video. Great reaction! And congrats on making it to 150k followers!
Skyrim was the first PS game I got my kiddo, because I'm an old school DnD player but kiddo is better at the controller. Every bit of lore I know about it I learned from kiddo because they took that game and ran with it.
I’m not a gamer, but I love both Dragonborn Comes and Halo from VoicePlay. The performance of Halo is mind-blowing even without knowing the game. The Charismatic Voice reacted to VP’s Halo Theme with the game’s music composer and he loved what VP did with it.
My husband and I play Skyrim together. He is responsible for questing, and I handle resource management and all crafting. It works for us, lol! This is such a satisfying cover of the song. I used to let the game play on the main screen in the background because I liked the music so much and now I listen to this all the time! On a side note, the Halo video is pretty awesome, even if you didn't play the game. I didn't either, but the music is epic, and they did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend it. Great reaction. It was really fun to watch. Keep the reactions coming.
